Hi Ali,
Inspiration? Probably the beauty I see in everyday life, Whether it be my children, the people I meet at work, doing my daily chores, or even the gadgets and gizmos I seem to love. Thanks bringing up this topic!

I think the most inspirational book I've read this year was 'Globejotting' by Dave Fox.

Lately, I have been inspired by You-tube. Tutorials on distressing wood, making slip covers and various Lebanese cuisine recipes. After bring in an uncreative funk since APril, I am excited to heading to Home Depot today to pick up the wood that I will use to make end tables and a coffee table for my living. I love do-it-yourself .... and giveaways *wink* Thanks.

My daughter (who is just 6) is inspiring me at the momoent - she is happy to stand up and perform in front of her entire school while I struggle to present to a dozen people! She has complete faith that they will share in her fascination with her topic.

Wow I love these pieces. If I were to request a hand stamped pendant, I would have it inscribed with my favorite motto "nothing changes if nothing changes". This is what keeps me inspired at this point in my life.

I am inspired by the attitude of our exchange student. She has made wonderful efforts to join in with our family and her English is remarkable. Best of all she carries her dictionary and looks up everything she does not know. Not surprisingly her language skills are improving at an astonishing rate. We have learned so much from her and I am thankful for this opportunity.

Wonderful giveaways! I just have to try, although I never win :(
So... this summer is very busy for me, I have no vacation, so I just have to enjoy the little moments and just collect ideas, maybe during autumn I will have some time. During the walks with my dog I look at nature, I'm inspired by the gardens, plants, flowers, while doing shopping I look at window displays, the stands with vegetables and fruits, the colours are so wonderful, having a coffee break I browse through the blogs or magazines to find new ideas there, some books read in my garden also inspired me. I just found Etsy and I'm amazed by the great ideas there, definitely have to try some new techniques. And of course everyday life, meeting with my friends and family, looking at the kids, making photos, talking... I have a list of ideas and I'm anxious to try them!

Lately I have been inspired by my little 2 year old girl - she is at the stage where she seems to be learning so much so quickly and is always saying or doing something that surprises me (nicely). She reminds me of the times that her older brother reached the same milestones but which I had almost forgotten about. He was our first child and those early years seem to have passed in a blur so this time around, I know how important it is to capture and record what will become precious memories.

I am inspired this summer by working on my Project 365 kit. It has enabled me to scrapbook the daily lives of my children, family and friends all year around. It so nice to look forward to a completed project by year end. The summer activity pictures are also so bright and fun it keeps me motivated.
