I'm being inspired by all things Parisian...especially the book `Paris: Made By Hand' by Pia Jane Bijkerk & all the gorgeous photography/goodies inside. Am going to Paris in September so trying to squeeze in as much research beforehand!

I have been inspired today by the movie My Sister's Keeper. When I wasn't crying I was drooling over the amazing doodle-filled scrap book she created...and all the intimate and powerful things she said to her loved ones through that album. I now want to make more time to scrap the things I want to say to my son, rather than just cronicle his life.

Family time is inspiring me. My mother and sister have both passed away in the last year. I am spending very quality time with the remaining brother and sister while we go through their things and recall old memories. Family is where it is at!

This morning I am inspired by the fun colors and punches I left on my table last night. It is raining here as I wake up, the gentle kind of rain that we need so badly,it is still dark out and that makes for a perfect day for me. Since my body refuses to sleep anymore, I will get inked up and stamp something fun.
Thanks for the chance to win!

I've been inspired by the work of Charley Harper. His style really appeals to me. I love this quote from him on his art "remember that I didn't start out to paint a bird - the bird already existed. I started out to paint a picture of a bird, a picture which didn't exist before I came along, a picture which gives me a chance to share with you my thoughts about the bird."

Since we're finally on vacation this summer, I'm able to relax and enjoy being outside. I'm inspired by the slower pace of things, especially in the morning. I can actually do what I want to do whether that's going for a walk and listening to the birds, or finding inspiriation on a new scrapping blog.

With over 1,100 comments, I'm an unlikely winner but here's what's inspiring me today: The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society - it's a great book written completely as letters. The letters are inspiring me to write (as in journal). I started a journal/scrapbook fashioned after the Amelia's Notebook series by Marissa Moss and this novel has inspired me with my notebook!
Thanks for the wonderful blog, Ali.
