I have been inspired by the signts, sounds & smells of summer including my love of zinnias, tomatoes and mini vacations in the mountains!

i am inspired after taking Karen Russels photographers workshop. And love taking pictures of everybody and everything now - love that class.

i am inspired by old stuff lately. i have picked up some fab op shop finds and have given them a new life. i feel so good about reusing something and feel good that my kids see me practising what i teach them.

I am inspired by the hot, hazy days of August and the primary colours that are all around me.
Red - tomatoes
Orange - nasturtiums
Yellow - corn
Green - cucumbers
Blue - blueberries
And my old stash of wood-mounted stamps.

My 15 year old daughter, Victoria, is inspiring me... she has her first summer job at the local swimming pool and has been a very dedicated worker, orgainized the concession stand and keeps all the little ones listening to the dos and don'ts of being a good customer.. she inspires me, because, she is my "quiet" youngest child.

I was inspired by the courage of my 10 year old niece when faced with the possibility of having Stage 1 Diabetes. Tests proved she was OK.

I've been inspired lately by my 4 year old daughter's art work. I'm awed by her unique sense of style, her free imagination, and her interesting subjects. Her color choices have even been informing my own art, plus we love to draw and paint side by side giving us lots of time to connect and enjoy each other.

I am inspired by seeing other's work on the INternet--whether it be scrapbooking or collage or jewelry or whatever--it's a great way to see some awesome inspiration for free!

I'm inspired lately by the peace in my house after wee hours feeds, 2am is the only time the house is quiet and it inspires me. I often find myself journalling, sketching, editing pics when I should be sleeping before the babe wakes me again!

I'm totally inspired by anything printed with text. I can't get enough of book pages, fonts, or papers with text on them! I guess I'm getting into that "Back To School" mode!

I am being inspired by my flower gardens lately.....the color combinations that pop up are usually something that I would never choose on my own...especially in my "mystery" daylily bed where I bought a bunch of unlabeled lilies & never know what color is going to pop up next!

I'm inspired by home decor blogs like Decor8, design sponge, Inspiration for everyday living or Eye Spy. The bring so many color and decoration ideas I can use not only in my home but in my scrapbooks too.

I am inspired by my friend Connie. She is the one who got me started in scrapbooking, and she never stops pushing me to expand my work. Scrapbooking my family led to researching my family history, and now both hobbies are closely attached to the way I think today.

I am being inspired by the weather lately.. here in new england, things have been a little off in term of weather.. quite chilly for august (hot one day, cool the next)... the drastic changes in weather have made me step out of my comfort zone with colors and tools... been nice to shake it up some..

hmmmmm...easy answer, just having good health, happiness and $ to buy scrappin stuff LOL....with all sadness around I am grateful and inspired just to be!!!!

My daughter inspires me everyday. My total excitement about being a new mom drives me to create layouts about my daughter and how she has changed our lives.

I am inspired by everything around me, I love to take pictures of nature, family and just all the wonder of being alive......so my inspiration is to get it scrapped and share my feelings for future generations to know who I was (hmmmmm.....the crazy lady) LOL
