I've dedicated the 7 hours a week that my daughter is in preschool to nothing. No housework, no obligations...just a walk, reading, scrapbooking, or whatever I feel like.

just for me: i JUST finished sewing a handbag TODAY just for me! it's the amy butler pattern for the 'frenchy bag' but i have renamed it the 'stag bag' after harry potter's patronus because of the amazing joel dewberry fabric i used. i'm SEW proud of it too! cheers to a great weekend, rachel

I went on a date with my husband to a very fancy and nice restaurant. We are in the middle of a huge move from Florida to Ohio and it has been very stressful. We really need it to recharge our batteries. I love the address labels. I have been looking at her sight to buy a stamp for my new home address.

My sister and I went together and got a pedicure. We talked and laughed and I got purple toe polish!

This is a hard one with the addition of a newborn (ok 4 month old) who is sleeping worse than when she was a newborn. I guess recently I have started digital scrapping again.

We have a girls scrapbooking weekend planned next Friday - Sunday. I can't wait! 3 days of hanging with the girls, scrapbooking, no phones, no alarm clock, no laundry and dishes. Pure bliss!

"just for me" has been put on hold lately whilst I try to pamper hubby as much as possible before his deployment... so I guess "just for me" has been crafting during the day whilst he's at work! :)

just for me...I went back to graduate school at the age of 39 even though my own kids are closing in on college themselves. i figure this way, i'll actually work in a job i love which will help pay for their college and keep the mama healthy.

one thing I have been doing for myself is to start rowing again to keep my fittest - it's hard work but VERY worth the effort! I just want to keep at it!

I have taken the time away from everything each week to scrapbook for me and not for someone else. To tell my own story and to reflect upon my own life.

I have several blogs that I read daily. That time is just for me. I read Ali for inspiration, there are a couple about health and fitness that I check out and some that are just quirky and interesting. Just to feed my mind for a bit feels great!

What did I do just for me??? Today I never got out of my pajamas, stamped and made cards, enjoyed a relaxing day at home. Only stepped outside to take the dog out--while still in my pajamas. Gotta love Saturday's like this.

I actually took time today to listen to your lessons from week 2 of you BPS class. It was so nice to have that quiet time and have DH take charge of the kids.
