Since I live alone, my "just for me" project was a freshening of the home......new counters, sinks, backsplash in the kitchen. It's divine!

My favorite thing to do just for myself is to take a long bubble bath. Got to do that a few days ago (without kid interruptions!) and it was heavenly!

Ali - It's easy for me to leave a comment today about something I've done for me - I just got back from a long weekend crop with 3 of my best friends and there's definitely something to say about long-time friendships - friendships that have spanned at least 30 years. A totally renewed and rejuvenated me!

I invited friends to come and stay with us last week. My husband isn't too keen on company, but he survived and it was fun (for me) to catch up!

I have been crafting and sewing. Really making the time for me to do something just for me. I have actually been scheduling it and not putting it on the back burner. To tell the truth, I feel better now that I have been taking the time for me to do something that is just for me and no one else. Thank you for the inspiration and all the good give aways

I decided to take a weekend class. my life has been crazy this year and I am starting to realize that I NEED "me" time to re-fuel. happy thanksgiving! ciao!

I got a pedicure on Friday. I needed a haircut, and had some time to burn after, very rare for me...so I decided I would like a lovely massage from the girls at the pedicure place in town, and got a pedicure...even though it's 50 degrees and my tootsies are covered up...I still got them pampered and cared for. (o:

I went out of town on business and hit two scrapbook stores in the area I travelled to - what fun and friendly people!

Drank a glass of wine. Maybe two.

I ran 10 miles on Saturday just for me!

I decided to take a weekend for myself and I went on a mission trip to do some volunteer work for another church.

I just recently got my bangs cut, it was way overdue :) ...although I still had to bring my girls with me, lol!

just for me is an upcoming event --- scrap weekend starting next Thursday!!! ;-) Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I could really use the address labels. We've got to send out our save the dates this week and then invitations later this coming. That's a lot of return addressing! And this is beautifully lettered!

I finally took a vacation day and didn't do anything. Slept as long as I wanted, looked up stuff on the internet I had been meaning to, watched scrapbooking videos and joined a stamp club. I did no cleaning or bill paying or appointments. I only did stuff that was what I wanted. Felt so good!

While scrapbooking some pages for a benefit for a sick friend, I treated myself to watching my two favorite teams win their respective games! Go Broncos! Go Steelers! And more than anything, long live Simone!

Slept late! I love sleep. I need more of it. Some days, I would take a nap over any other choice out there. Today, I got to sleep late. It was delicious.

I signed up for your class at Big Picture Scrapbooking this fall. I have not taken much time this past year to do things just for myself, so I am looking forward to having something just for me once a week with your class.

I spent time today working on a digital scrapbook page. Loved it!
