My favorite December tradition is making Snow-top Cookies. They are chocolate cookies covered with powered sugar. When they bake the cookies crack and it looks like the top of a mountain covered with snow. We make them every year and they are always delicious! :)

Great giveaways! Thank you for the opportunity!
Our favorite thing to do on these cold nights is for our three kids to snuggle up in our bed and we watch holiday movies together. We're starting to carry it over to some weekend mornings as well. :)

My December tradition is to listen to Steven Curtis Chapman's Christmas album. It reminds me of the reason we celebrate Christmas and always brightens my mood.

As our children are now grown, one of our favorite family traditions is to gather the grandchildren and let them decorate the christmas tree. As they are all still very young the ornaments are arranged up to a heighth of about 3 1/2 feet from the bottom of the tree. We take lots of pictures and then the next day I make some minor adjustments to balance the decorations.
The pictures taken the year before are placed in new ornaments for the new years tree.

My favorite Christmas tradition is writing and receiving Christmas "love notes" from my family. We write a small note to each person in our family telling them we love them and reasons why. It's the first thing we open on Christmas morning.

My favorite tradition is taking our time opening our presents from youngest to oldest on Christmas. We enjoy coffee, hot chocolate, ham and potica bread while we watch each other open gifts. Another is my daughter and I also started a few years ago making a gingerbread house from a kit. We enjoy this creative time together every year! Merry Christmas!

My favorite tradition is when my father's extended family gets together after midnight mass. We open gifts together- many of them gag gifts and share a meal. Even though there are no young children in the family currently my dad still dresses up in a Santa suit to pass out gifts and sing Christmas carols.
