Below, the words. If I accidentally missed yours please add a comment below and I will add it to the list (I am updating throughout the day). These words are beautiful and powerful and subtle and really can make a difference in your life. Cheers to 2010.

One of the big things I noticed as I read back through all the words
yesterday is that most people want to make some sort of change in their
lives such as a subtraction or an addition. You might be interested in checking out Leo Batuba's (Zen Habits) new blog about habits
called 6 Changes.

Hi Ali - Love the word collage. My word for 2010 is FUN.
(I posted it on the day when you asked about the one action we would take but I didn't post it on any other day.)

Sure - I think you just need to say that it was made in Wordle and link to them :).

That looks amazing! I actually had a hard time choosing a word this year. I think I have decided on BECOME. It works well with the ideas I've had bouncing around lately.

Wow, seeing the list is very powerful. I am so happy to be a part of this list! I have used a word before but putting it out there for all to see gives it more weight.
Thank you for doing the list....so many words and so much strength!

Love the words. My word is flexible, I had shoulder surgery in October and want to gain back the full use of my arm and also the word flexible means to me to be more relaxed laid back about things going on in my life.

Oh, Ali, how I love the complete list of ONE LITTLE WORD(s). Last year I used this list as my source for "One Word" blog posts in which I randomly selected one each week and pondered it in a short paragraph. The series petered out before the year ended, so this new list has revived that intention for 2010! I so appreciate all of the words submitted and especially your own dedication to posting them and encouraging all of us as we embrace our words throughout the year. You are a treasure!
I have been pondering my own word for over a week now, just trying to get a sense of its impact, and have decided to use SAIL as my one little word for this year. It comes from a prayer made back in early December by a minister friend: "Lord, fill my sails in 2010." As I thought about those words and how to create action from it, I decided that 2010 is here for me to set out without restriction, to hoist my sails and allow God to take me where He will, to not attempt my own direction or fight the winds of change but rather sit back and SAIL along at God's pace.
Thank you, everyone, for sharing your own stories and dreams. Here's to a rich and purpose-filled new year!

Hi Ali, My word is Adore. Adore my hubby as we enter our 10th year of marriage, adore my son more so that when he's challenging it doesn't leave us feeling so rotten, and adore my daughter so I don't take her super pleasant stage for granted. And probably hardest of all, try to shed a little adoration on myself from time to time.

Love the list. I already have an idea for next years word, previous years were Simplify and flourish, but this years is a phrase "Just Do It" or "Jump In".
After a difficult health year, I took last year to live and enjoy and flourish. Then I started taking piano lessons, now I'm working out again, going vegan (at least for awhile), taking a photography class, looking at lots of things to fix up if we find the perfect house... and limited time before my youngest sweetie goes to Kindy and I need to start earning money for retirement and weddings and colleges... No more adding things to a list to do "when I have time".
So Just Do It it is!

What a wonderful and powerful image! My word for 2010 is lighter. Lighter physically and lighter in attitude and thoughts. That is how I want to be.

Decrease is my word for 2010. There are many things that I want to decrease this year and at the top of the list is decreasing the time between promptings and doings.

A,
this is just a short note to say that it KILLS me how creative and inspiring you are! I just had to say it, eventhough I'm sure you hear it all the time! You just seem like you have it so together, and everything you make is gorgeous! I strive to be creative everyday, and I encourage my 6 yr old son to create everday also. We have a 'SCRAFT' room (his word) and we spend most of our time together in there. He has total freedom, and I mean paint, glitter, glue...anything that won't hurt him, because I want him to feel the freedom of expressing yourself. It is my dream to be able to do this full time, and maybe....just maybe someday it will happen. Me and my sister are both nurses, but we have a secret dream to open a little craft shop some day. We live in a small town in Arkansas, with nothing of the sort anywhere close.
My son, Nathan, makes the cutest things, and he loves to share the things he makes with others. We have a budget and have to be creative and buy many of our supplies at walmart, but that's ok with us! I love going to craft stores, but always end up spending way too much, then feeling guilty bc I know it's money I could be spending on my lil guy. My husband supports my hobby (passion), but does not really understand it.
The point of this letter is to say Thank You, for inspring, and making me believe that I can do it, too. I love your style, I love your cute lil family, and love you too for being someone to look up to. I will enjoy your work as long as you continue to share! You're amazing!! Thanks again!

Very cool and inspiring!
My word is RECORD. I have really fallen away this year in getting everything recorded in terms of scrapbooking. So my plan is to get back on track with documenting the everyday and also memories. It is an important year with a new addition and so many things happening with our family.

My word is "release." To release and let go all the things which no longer serves me. To purge negative thoughts, feelings, and emotions. I'm a young cancer survivor. I don't want to live in fear and need to release fear, anger and uncertainty surrounding my diagnosis. To remind myself daily that I am in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing. Fully knowing that all is well in my world.
