Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

One person will receive the Life Documented kit from the new Simple Stories collection by MemoryWorks.
Your photos and memories are far too important to keep in a box, store on a computer or bury in a pile. We know life is busy and at times it feels nearly impossible to keep up with all of life's demands - yet alone find time for the things you enjoy like your scrapbook hobby and preserving your memories.
If you're overwhelmed with too many photos...
If you're feeling guilty for not being "caught up"...
If you're overloaded with creative pressure and unrealistic expectations...
If you're stressed because you don't have enough time to scrapbook...
If you don't know where to start...or worried if you can even keep up...
If you're frustrated with the process of traditional scrapbooking...
If you're looking for a better way...
Then you will love our simple and refreshing approach to scrapbooking!
MemoryWorks is beyond thrilled to introduce the new, exclusive Simple Stories scrapbook system. You can view our video here. Our innovative system was designed for scrapbookers of all levels who want to share their life stories and memories in a simple, yet meaningful, way - but without the time, guilt or stress of traditional scrapbooking.

Our Life Documented kit allows you to share your story in a whole new way, while getting back to the basics of what scrapbooking is all about...your photos and memories. We've done all the work for you with our exclusive Simple Stories system - with beautiful pre-designed elements that you simply trim, add your journaling and then insert into pockets - along with your 4x6 photos - for quick and easy scrapbooking. No cropping. No adhesive. No stress. It's as easy as that - sharing your photos and memories has never been easier!
In addition to the giveaway here, we're giving away a FREE Simple Stories Life Documented kit, with coordinating divided page protectors and embellishments, a retail value well over $35. Visit www.mysimplestories.com for more details.

I also choose the word story. I was in your BPS class and realized that I have so many stories that need to be put down on paper. Things that are floating around in my head that I don't want to forget but more importantly I want to share with my son. So in the year 2010 I want to record as many stories as I can.

My word for the new year is courage. I am in the middle of a divorce with three young children, have started two new businesses to try and support us and have many, many hard decisions to make in 2010. I need to have the courage to make very difficult choices about whether or not we can stay in our home, if I can support my children here without financial help, if I should go back to school, move in with my parents out of state . . . . it is going to be a tough year. I must have the courage to tackle all of it while maintaining a home full of love and security for my children.

Wonderful! I'm still pondering my personal word. For our family, I think we're using Fun. We spent the last year building a house and having baby#2. A lot of the fun was left behind. This year it's time to get back out and have a blast!
Thanks for a great giveaway!

My word for the year is REAL. I am going back to school to do something that I have been thinking about for five years, but was afraid to do because of the major career change & schooling that it would involve. It is time for my chosen career to reflect the REAL, authentic me.

My word is FEARLESS. I took a voice over class three years ago and got one paying gig. I never followed through to make a demo, but am going to contact the person and do that this year. Whether or not it gets me work-I need to do it for me-I need to make choices for myself out of faith and belief rather than fear.

I haven't decided on a word, yet, but in regard to new year resolutions, I try to be very specific (and therefor measurable) when it comes to setting my goals for the year ahead. Happy New Year, Ali!

Hi Ali! My word is "DECLUTTER"-- my mail basket is always overflowing, I have to tiptoe inside my closet, and I am never, ever done with laundry (which usually is clean, but piled on top of the dryer). Yesterday, I actually cleaned my laundry room! I would LOVE to win any of these lovely prizes!!

Wow, awesome giveaways. For the first time I have decided to pick a word of the year. I have decided on Serenity. This past year has been so chaotic, stressful, and disorganized. I have purchased the log your memory 2010 book in an effort to start to get things organized and journaled and figure out what is what.

My DH chose ENJOY, he really wanted to just enjoy being home. (and I want him to too!) This being my 4th year of this tradition, I was getting a little worried that my word hadn't chosen me yet, but then I started reading through past words and it hit me today...
RENEW v.
1. To make new or as new again; restore. I want to restore some of my friendships.
2.To take up again; resume. I want to resume my face-to-face relationship with my husband who just returned from deployment.
3.To repeat so as to reaffirm; renew a promise. I am going to stay on the path of being a non-smoker. 5 moths and counting!!!
4. To arrange for the extension of...a new member of our family. :)
I will be copying this and printing it out and placing it someplace that I'll see it everyday. And most likely making something creative with it.:)
Thanks Ali again for inspiring us!

Not sure yet what my word is but it will relate to my goals this year of being healthy and being a more intentional parent, making sure I'm teaching my kids values and raising them with character.
Love all the giveaways!
