Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

One person will receive the Life Documented kit from the new Simple Stories collection by MemoryWorks.
Your photos and memories are far too important to keep in a box, store on a computer or bury in a pile. We know life is busy and at times it feels nearly impossible to keep up with all of life's demands - yet alone find time for the things you enjoy like your scrapbook hobby and preserving your memories.

My word is composure. Mainly I'm trying to reduce anxiety and scatterbrained ways that cause anxiety. My first "smaller" goal of the year to accomplish this is to get my planer updated and organized. Thank you for introducing me to this great concept.

My word for the year is CHANGE...in fact our family word is CHANGE!! and even though its only the 2nd of the year we have already started to make changes in our personal lives and family lives, one step at a time, one day at a time... My goal is to change everything (well almost everything) from the way we eat to the way we dress and consume etc...Change is good, it cleanses out soul and makes us stronger... Thanks for the beautiful give away and inspirational blog...what a wonderful way to start to the year! Happy New Year Ali!

My one little word is truly that: DO. I tend to overanalyze and think about things more than actually DOING them. I started changing that in 09 by joining weight watchers and in 2010 I'm taking 2 exercises classes, and setting goals for scrapbooking projects and home improvement projects. Thanks for the chance to win!

Last year's word was CHANGE -- I moved across country to take a new job, got divorced, sold a house, bought a house. Yup LOTS of change. My word this year is HEALTH. This year I'm focusing on my HEALTH: physical, mental/emotional, financial. With my last move (into a house) I've neglected my art/crafting; my current action is trying for a 365 project. It may become a project 52, but one can start with a higher goal and see where it leads. The dog took me for a walk yesterday and I snapped a photo of our shadows. 2 goals worked on!!!
Thanks, Ali, for all the lovely inspiration.

My word for the year is Discipline. Discipline to eat better, keep my house cleaner and keep my finances under control. For the house cleaning part, I downloaded the Motivated Moms calendar and am going to give it a go!

I don't have a word, but my "resolution" type of goal is to get my finances in order. I just did a budget this morning, so I am getting closer to my goal. :)

My word this year is nurture -I wanted to pick a dynamic, challenging in-your-face word, but nurture choose me. I'm great nurturing everybody else, but not-so-much for me. I want to begin to value and protect myself after a year of (successful, but difficult) treatments for breast cancer. I especially relate to Ali's words about nurture from Jan 2009 -"simplifying and pinpointing what is really important to me in my life." I have spent this past week clearing out papers and junk from 20 or maybe 30 years, finally realizing that I don't need all that stuff anymore to be safe. Thanks, Ali, for the one word idea.

My word is "health" this year. Physical health, mental health, financial health, and spiritual health. I've taken action by getting the book "deceptivly delicious" to sneak veggies into my picky two year olds food. I made SCADS of veggie puree the other day (10 different kinds!) so I have them ready to go in Oliver's dinners. Benefit is that my hubby and I are enjoying the recipies too, so we are on our way to our "physical health" portion of my word this year. Still finding action plans for the rest, but I'm really optomistic and excited about this word!
