Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

Well - I'm having a bit of a road block on this year's word. The last couple of year's came easily, but this year's isn't. It just needs to perk a little longer to come out, I guess! LOL! So - I'm giving it time...

My word is INTENTIONAL. I want to be intentional in my daily tasks - to not do them as a routine or second nature, but to intentially to do all to the best of my ability. Whether it's the 6th load of laundry or whether I'm sending a word of encouragment to someone - to do it with intention.
Thanks for the opportunity to win again - love it all.

I am choosing between LOVE and MEMORIES. It is our 10 year anniversary and we just had our fifth child last year. This has me reflecting on how fast time goes by. I love SB but I want to be sure my family knows how I feel about them and to take the time to build memories because this time won't last long, even in those moments it feels like there is no end in sight. This is what matters most. Writing the story is great, but living it is better.

My word for the year is determined. I am determined to finish losing weight and training for a half marathon. I'm determined to scrap and create more, I'm determined to be a better wife, mother, friend, daughter. I'm determined to stick to the things I want to acomplish this year. I have a lot I want to do this year and I think determination is what I'm going to need to get it done. Thanks for the great giveaways.

My word for 2010 is STRENGTH. After my father passed away from cancer, 1 cheating boyfriend, and getting hit by a car while walking in the crosswalk, I unknowingly needed a year to recover. I've gathered together a plan of journaling, MUSIC and a personal trainer, for inner and outer strength for this fresh new year.

I've decided that my word of the year is PRIORITY. I'm a working mom with 3 kids and find that time for me is quite limited. I'm still working out the details as I journal about this word, but I've decided that I have to give priority to my health and wellbeing, spiritual self, as well as enhancing my hobby through the talents that God has blessed me with. It's a tall order but with the 'word' always forefront in my mind, I think I can focus better.

My word is BREATHE. I plan to take time to breathe in and out before responding negatively to any stresses that come my way and tend to make me act like the person I don't want to be. Breathing before speaking will help me choose better words as well.

Joy is my word of the year. I do not communicate very well to my family that I am full of joy everyday in many little ways. They know and see the big ways but I want to show them and express to them how much joy I have inside from many little things. Life may be tough and it definitely throws you a lot of curve balls. But in everything you can always find some joy if you really look and desire to find it.

My word for the year is: DARE. I am going to push myself to do things I would not even think of doing (nothing illegal of course).:) It's time to release my inner creativity, explore what life has to offer and be more adventurous and less on the safe and boring side.

I just decided today that my word is mySELF. Since Emma was born almost 6 years ago and Alex 3...I have let myself get lost. I have gained weight, my hair is gray, my skin is dry and my hands and feet are in a sad way. This year I am taking care of my SELF. (of course I won't neglect others, but I am not neglecting myself anymore). So today I went out and bought the new Biggest Loser game for the Wii, new moisturizers for my dry skin and hair color. Let my year of SELF begin!

My word is balance. I've turned into a work-a-holic and have spent more time at work then at home the past few years. I want this year to be filled with just as much fun stuff as it is work. So one of my action plans is to cut down on the crazy overtime hours.
