Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

That's an easy one. My word is Study. Every day I will be studying the people and the world around me and seeing how they pertain to me and how it all relates to my life. I've taken the steps in scrapping better by joining classes, and I'm going to take a photography class later this year. It's a year of self-discovery combined with learning more of the things around me. 2010 will be a very good year indeed. :)

I am still looking for my word - I keep thinking of Intention - meaning to pay attention, not get sidetracked. But in the past it meant I always had the best of intentions, but didn't follow through, so still trying to tweak it.

I don't have a word yet. Still pondering, but one step I have taken in that I purchased the EA Sports Active. It is so fun and my legs hurt from yesterday's workout. One little step at a time....even if it is fun!

My word for 2010 is PRAYER. It sounds so easy but, I sometimes make it so hard. Daily or many times a day, life is just more rewarding with PRAYER. Thank you for sharing your talent and family life.

My word is Breathe. Life has been so manic lately. I want to cherish my days and not rush through them.

My word of the year is EXCESS. I am using this word to direct my overspending as well as using it as a mantra to live life in excess, soak up every second and make it all count.

I'm still having trouble settling on a word...last year it was Grace but pretty much changed to Survive by the end of the year, heh.
So far what sticks out in my mind most is your word for last year: Nurture. Nurture my toddler, nurture my marriage, nurture myself...and hopefully nurture a new baby this year.

2009 was the first year in several that I could seriously call myself a scrapbooker. So I chose the word "Continue". I've made good progress and want to keep it up in 2010.

My word is holiness - seeking to have every aspect of my life set apart for the Glory of God. The greatest action I can do to promote this on my own life is more regular time in God's Word, and in prayer. Every day practice = every day holiness.

Hi Ali!
My word for this year is BEGIN.
The first thing on my list that I will BEGIN this year is to create a Project 365 album. My first photo & words for January 1st documents how I will use my one little word throughout the year. Instead of focusing on 2 projects (one little word & project 365), I am going to try to combine the 2 into my Project 365 album. I am so excited to BEGIN this new journey!
I love the giveaways this week and I am so happy that you created the 365 Overlays. They will make it much easier for me to complete my 365 album!
Happy New Year! :)

I think my word is going to be LUCKY. I want to focus on the good in my life and remind myself daily how fortunate (this word seemed a bit too pretentious) I am. Looking for the positive in everything and everyone will be a goal of mine this year. That, and trying not to stress about all the little stuff are my resolutions for the year.

My word this year is NEW. One thing I am going to do is try something new each week...maybe a new recipe, a new sb technique or find a new park to take the kids to! I am going to keep track of the weekly new things on my blog!

I haven't decided what my word will be this year. But I'd like to make sure to spend more time really listening to what the girls are telling me at all times.

My word is history. I want to preserve my own history and those I have lost. I also want my children to be aware that they are creating their own histories. My 1st action is to improve my journaling on my blog to help my journaling on my layouts.

My 10yr old daughter asked what my new years resolution would be and I had to answer what was at the forefront of my mind for so long, and that was to set aside time weekly to scrapbook WITH them and about them. They love their layouts so much and I realized that they feel so loved by them. So that said, it leads me to my word...fulfillment. Fulfillment in terms of doing what nurtures and feeds our souls. That translates to not only scrapping with them, but noticing and documenting what we do as a family on a daily basis. Thanks for all you do. Cheers to 2010!

My word for this year is CONFIDENT. One of the first actions I am taking in living a life being confident is setting goals for myself this year. I usually don't do "New Year Resolutions" but I think setting goals will help me grow in being a confident woman.

I have been feeling overwhelmed with the amount of attention needed from other folks. I sometimes feel as if I have no time to do what I want to do when I want to do it. So, after much thought and narrowing my WOTY down to 3 (self, enough or edit (i luv that word) I have chosen "Enough". I am going to "try" to keep focused on my word and things going on in my life BEFORE I commit to anything else!
