Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

One person will receive the Life Documented kit from the new Simple Stories collection by MemoryWorks.
Your photos and memories are far too important to keep in a box, store on a computer or bury in a pile. We know life is busy and at times it feels nearly impossible to keep up with all of life's demands - yet alone find time for the things you enjoy like your scrapbook hobby and preserving your memories.
If you're overwhelmed with too many photos...
If you're feeling guilty for not being "caught up"...
If you're overloaded with creative pressure and unrealistic expectations...
If you're stressed because you don't have enough time to scrapbook...
If you don't know where to start...or worried if you can even keep up...
If you're frustrated with the process of traditional scrapbooking...
If you're looking for a better way...
Then you will love our simple and refreshing approach to scrapbooking!

Our Life Documented kit allows you to share your story in a whole new way, while getting back to the basics of what scrapbooking is all about...your photos and memories. We've done all the work for you with our exclusive Simple Stories system - with beautiful pre-designed elements that you simply trim, add your journaling and then insert into pockets - along with your 4x6 photos - for quick and easy scrapbooking. No cropping. No adhesive. No stress. It's as easy as that - sharing your photos and memories has never been easier!

I'm looking for one word to describe getting better and moving forward. I want to get healthier and have started training for a 10K. We're finally getting a handle on our finances and am looking forward to this next year.

I have chosen the same word as you - STORY. In 2009 I made a lot of cards but hardly any layouts, partly because I forgot why I started scrapbooking in the first place: to tell the stories. In 2010 I will try to make a story (=a layout) each week. I already made the first one and it felt great :-)
Every Tuesday I meet with other scrapbookers, hence Tuesday will be my weekly "tell-a-story" night" :-)

My word is BALANCE. It cost me a lot of thinking and still I am not quite sure, but I can't find anything better, that holds all my goals for 2010! I am going to buy a handmade charm necklace on etsy which I will wear every day to be reminded of balance between family an work and "me time", to be more balanced to my kids, to give and to take.
And: I am fading when I see all the give aways.

I've resolved to not buy new supplies until I've made 100 layouts. To make that happen, I've started editing my vacation photos so I can be on my way by creating an album with them!

Wow - such fabulous giveaways! I am crossing my fingers!! :)
Regarding my word - ORGANIZE - last night I booked three different cabins all around our home state (Oregon) so we can getaway and enjoy time together. Doing it in January guarantees our spot (the cabins book up fast) and helps me "organize" our family outings a little more. Not so much stress trying to find somewhere to go a week beforehand.
Also today I am going to finish up all of the 2009 tax credit paperwork for our home. It's been staring at me for months now. Time to get it ORGANIZED!
Hope you had a fabulous 2010 celebration. Thanks! Trisha

Beautifull prices Ali! And off course: happy new year to you and your family. Considering that i am feeling guilty (very...) of not having finished 2008 (!) scrapbooking i really hope to win the price from my simple story! My word is most probably ACT. I am a thinker and a dreamer when it comes to making art and scrapbooking (and an internetter) and i can get lost in thinking and dreaming instead of doing.
HUGS,
Hedwig
