Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

One person will receive the Life Documented kit from the new Simple Stories collection by MemoryWorks.

Thanks for the chance to win any of these great giveaways! I have started a blog and have really began to share my story with the world. I have to see that a scrapbook isn't simply a collection of pictures but rather a story that only I can tell.

Awesome giveaways as usual! My word is EXPLORE and my first plan of action will involve a day trip or weekend getaway each month in the year 2010. Sometimes because life is so hectic Mon-Fri we tend to hole up at home (especially in the winter) in our pj's and relish not having to go anywhere or do anything. Of course, everyone needs to do that from time to time, too but this will challenge me to plan to see some places and do some things I haven't done before!

My word of the year is change. The action that I am taking is to go straight from work to the gym. That way no excuses when I get home.

My word is "do". I love to shop for scrappy supplies and take tons of photos, but when it comes to actually telling the story I'm not very good. I usually end up spending all my time on photo editing or organization and never get around to actually creating the page. This needs to change!!

I believe my word is going to be SIMPLIFY. There is so much in my life that I need to simplify it seems to be jumping out at me. We are having our 4th child in a few months - I want to concentrate on having less stuff for her/him. I want to simplify our schedule; simplify our resources; simplify our goals and routines. I want to lead a more simple life.

I thought my word was going to be PRIORITIZE but I changed at the last minute to a phrase - GOOD, BETTER, BEST - to remind me that good isn't always the best choice. Sometimes, there is something better!

PATIENCE for my word this year. I know everyone always told me I was the most patient person years ago, but I think as I got older I've been a little less patient than I would have liked to be.....so PATIENCE for me this year.

My word of the year is "energy." There are so many aspects of my life that need a more conscientious boost of energy that I felt this was the best word for me. I plan on utilizing my Heidi Swapp energy journal better as well as making lists of the types of energy I need to focus on and concentrate on those various types for a certain period of time.

still thinking of my word. it might end up being GO.
as in...stop planning, thinking, wishing, dreaming etc. and GO do it.
i just spent two days cleaning and getting rid of "stuff". it feels amazing. i would take 5 minute break through out to think about my next few steps and then GO at it again. we got rid of 4 bags of trash, and 5 bags to go to charity. WOO HOO!

My word for 2010 is "Diligence". I plan to exercise diligence in all that I do this year.

My word will be connect. I want to focus on connecting to the needs of my children and husband. Having 3 all under the age of 5 always leaves me short on time and I want to try to squeeze in a few minutes to connect with each of them more often. It's so easy to get wrapped up on the daily chores and work and not spend quality time.

My word is FITNESS. Last year, I lost 30 lbs through working out and eating healthy & clean foods. I want to continue that trend into this year and lose an additional 25 lbs and complete a half marathon with my husband. It's all about fitness this year!!

I am still exploring my word of the year possiblitys. I think it might be remember. I want to remember by incorporating journaling into my daily life. In between all of my lifes crazyness its hard to remember even at the end of the week what happened.

My word is Consider. Consider others first. Consider the consequences. THINK. Hmmm. Could have been that, too. I am all digi - would love those new photo overlays for this year's projects! Thanks for the chance.

I am not sure yet what my word is this year. I have a lot of goals to reach this year and a lot of challenges to get through. I think that endurance is really the main key to this year. I just hope to be able to acheive all that I have been hoping for this year.

This is my first year doing this...I love the idea! My mother-in-law passed away this past year and she was the shining example of someone who lived. I promised myself that I would become more like her in that aspect and so here it is my word is LIVE.

I haven't quite settled on my word yet I am thinking of 'Briliant' but it seems so audacious that I'm not sure I'm also considering a 'by-word' which is 'Thrive'. Whatever I do I think a one sentence journal ala Gretchin from 'the Happiness project' would be a good way to stay mindful of my word and the intention I have.
