Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

2010 word: serve. I want to give more of myself to my family, friends, church, charities...I can use my talents, simple as they are, to serve others in whatever way needed, big or small.

My word is simplify and I plan on putting that word into action in every area of my life over this next year. I started yesterday by tackling my "junk" room. Some people have a junk drawer and I have a junk room - that's what you get when you have an empty room not being used for anything else. It has grown over time and is an absolute mess. I like to say the mess breeds when I shut the door. But....no more. That room will be decluttered and "SIMPLIFIED" by Monday and I'm excited about it. Thanks!!

My word is passion- to give my passion in some way each day to my family-and to RECORD more of this passion in my journaling/layouts. I want my kids to experience a different part of me as a mom, (to see me more passionately care for them) not just the "jobs" I do as a mom each day. Bring on 2010!!

I don't really have a "word" for the year, but my "theme" for myself is "be organized." I'm working on becoming and staying more organized in my home, in my lifestyle and in my thoughts and memories. It's a little daunting! Happy New Year.

My word is being PRESENT. I've been forgetfull and careless and I believe it's due to not being fully present in what I do and the people around me. I am committed to slowing down, nurturing myself and appreciating my life.

My word for the year is "REFOCUS." I have had some issues that seem to plague me. When I tend to dwell on the negative, I want to be able to turn the focus around to something positive or redirect the focus entirely. I cannot change the way people are with me, but I CAN change my reaction to it. I need to remind myself of that daily!!!

One of my resolutions this year is to get more of my photos out of boxes and into albums, even if the pages are simple (not usually my style).

My word for the year is "EXPERIENCE." We had a lot of change (mostly good!) this past year, and I want to slow down this year and be present in every moment, savor every funny thing my kids say, every opportunity my marriage, my work, and my life presents.

I actually picked a word this year which is better than in years past. It was between PATIENCE and KINDNESS. My husband solved my dilemma. He said I'm always kind but I needed PATIENCE when I'm driving (I was driving at the time)! So....my word for 2010 is PATIENCE. Let the patience begin! Thanks Ali for another great giveaway! Happy New Year!

Hi Ali,
Please enter me in the draw for one of these amazing give aways. This year I want to be 'involved'. In the photos not always behind the camera, out amoungst it all, playing with my kids, not just sending them out to play. One small step is entering my name for the giveaway.

Me. My word for 2010 is ME. Instead of thinking about what everyone else is doing; how they are doing it; or why they are doing it ... I'm going to wrry about me. I am going to make the best choices for me. I'm going to take care of me. I'm going to rely on me. No one else can make me happy. I have to make me happy. I have to be the change I want to see. ME!

I am walking 30 minutes every day, and thinking of nothing but ways to organize my time.
Not the weather, or how I look, or how tired I am, but what I am going to do TODAY to use my time wisely.

My word for the year is CREATE! I need to get the creative juices flowing. All of the giveaways would help but the Life Documented kit would really be helpful as I have so many photos - some dating back over a hundred years. Got to do something with them.
Thanks for all of your give aways and great ideas.
