Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

One person will receive the Life Documented kit from the new Simple Stories collection by MemoryWorks.
Your photos and memories are far too important to keep in a box, store on a computer or bury in a pile. We know life is busy and at times it feels nearly impossible to keep up with all of life's demands - yet alone find time for the things you enjoy like your scrapbook hobby and preserving your memories.
If you're overwhelmed with too many photos...
If you're feeling guilty for not being "caught up"...
If you're overloaded with creative pressure and unrealistic expectations...
If you're stressed because you don't have enough time to scrapbook...
If you don't know where to start...or worried if you can even keep up...
If you're frustrated with the process of traditional scrapbooking...
If you're looking for a better way...
Then you will love our simple and refreshing approach to scrapbooking!
MemoryWorks is beyond thrilled to introduce the new, exclusive Simple Stories scrapbook system. You can view our video here. Our innovative system was designed for scrapbookers of all levels who want to share their life stories and memories in a simple, yet meaningful, way - but without the time, guilt or stress of traditional scrapbooking.
Life Documented, the first collection in our Simple Stories series, is all about documenting a year in your life like never before. Our Life Documented kit allows you to share your story in a whole new way, while getting back to the basics of what scrapbooking is all about...your photos and memories. We've done all the work for you with our exclusive Simple Stories system - with beautiful pre-designed elements that you simply trim, add your journaling and then insert into pockets - along with your 4x6 photos - for quick and easy scrapbooking. No cropping. No adhesive. No stress. It's as easy as that - sharing your photos and memories has never been easier!
In addition to the giveaway here, we're giving away a FREE Simple Stories Life Documented kit, with coordinating divided page protectors and embellishments, a retail value well over $35. Visit www.mysimplestories.com for more details.

Three people will receive my new 365 Photo Overlay kit from Designer Digitals.
This digital package includes 365 overlays, one for each day of the year. Designed to fit right on top of a 4x6 photo, these overlays also work really well as journal cards. My word is DESTRESS. 2009 was a hard year, and it is up to me to change what I can for 2010. I can't change everything, but I can change the way things affect me, that much is in my control. Great giveaways as always....

my word is wholehearted - it covers so much, and is as much about my attitude as doing stuff. i guess the first thing i've done is commit to reading my bible everyday in the morning (not last-thing-before-bedtime-if-i-get-that-far).

As I mentioned before, my little word this year is BALANCE. I have been looking for a way to make things a bit more balanced in almost every aspect of my life, and with 4 kids there are 6 of us under one roof, each with needs and wants... and mine always seem to get shelved. But, that is my fault, and for this year, I aim to achieve balance in my personal life, as well as in our family life...
So, with that said, I have made a family calendar... and we each have a colour assigned to us, so that we have events, activities and family fun, with a bit more BALANCE! So far for this month, the girls don't have much on (but they are only 14 months old!), but it looks like it might be a good way to approach it, because we can see it all in living colour.

My word for the year is blessed, we are putting our blessings to work. We are in the middle of a winter cleaning binge of which the proceeds are going to a local nonprofit that supports the less fortunate of our community. I want my children to understand that part of being grateful for one's blessings is sharing them. Thanks, Ali for all the inspiration. Happy New Year!

This year I want to continue my quest for a healthier lifestyle. I began last year in late January and I have been through a revolution of healthier eating, simpler living, and more exercise. It has even begun to have ripple effect and I cannot wait to see what 2010 has in store!
Thank you so much for the giveaways! I have been drooling over that Studio Calico Homefront Line.

My word for the year is CREATE. I plan to create something every day this year as well as focusing on what kind of a life I want to create for myself.

You know this going to sound selfish but I pick "ME". It is time to focus on me a little and accomplish the things for me that every year get pushed aside to accomplish things for everyone else. I just want to remember that I count too. And maybe if I give myself more value than the others in my life will value me more as well....

I'm trying to be more aware on a daily basis of what I do with my time. My word is Organize, but not in the sense of putting things where they belong (although I can use some of that too) but more like proactive living instead of reactive. I'm starting a paper journal. I'm thinking about a blog, just not sure if I want to do that just yet.

My word is HEALTHY. I broke my foot in Novemeber - it hasn't healed properly (I didn't stay off of it) so I just had surgery on Wed. I am going to focus on getting healthy and I have been a good girl and stayed off my foot!

My word for 2010 - change. I'm looking toward living my life instead of just existing. My first step toward my word is joining weight watchers. My second step was ordering some exercise dvds. I've already lost 15lbs in 3 weeks. It is a small step toward a big goal.
I've started my photo a day project and would love the overlays. I've even set up the blog - http://a-year-in-photographs.blogspot.com/ which I will post the pictures tomorrow.
This is definitely going to be an awesome year...

My word is "play". I have sticky notes all around the house with the word on it. My family is also helping to remind me to slow down, stop working and just play!
