Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals

Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.

Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.

One person will receive the Life Documented kit from the new Simple Stories collection by MemoryWorks.
Your photos and memories are far too important to keep in a box, store on a computer or bury in a pile. We know life is busy and at times it feels nearly impossible to keep up with all of life's demands - yet alone find time for the things you enjoy like your scrapbook hobby and preserving your memories.
If you're overwhelmed with too many photos...
If you're feeling guilty for not being "caught up"...
If you're overloaded with creative pressure and unrealistic expectations...

Our Life Documented kit allows you to share your story in a whole new way, while getting back to the basics of what scrapbooking is all about...your photos and memories. We've done all the work for you with our exclusive Simple Stories system - with beautiful pre-designed elements that you simply trim, add your journaling and then insert into pockets - along with your 4x6 photos - for quick and easy scrapbooking. No cropping. No adhesive. No stress. It's as easy as that - sharing your photos and memories has never been easier!

I'm still working on my word for 2010. I've been trying out a few, but not quite sure which one I'll choose. Maybe SAVOR? or maybe PLAY? SMILE? RELAX? Hmmmm. I'll keep working on this.

My word is "awareness" so I bought a little purple notebook that will fit in my purse and beautiful purple pen to go with it (purple is my very favorite color)and I will journal every day...about what I see and hear, about what I put into my body, how I spend my time, my money, what I pray about....I will be aware and intentional about my life this year!

My word this year is choice, about making the best I can as often as possible. Today I choose to take some time to be creative with friends and I just finished putting 30 layouts into their page protectors!

The word I chose was EXERCISE. Exercise my body, mind and spirit. So far, I've cleaned out my closet so it was exercising my mind and spirit. I no longer have to worry about how horrible it looks in there.

My word for 2010 is 'gentle'. For me this means being careful to encourage others and choose my words carefully to achieve this; looking after my body in a gentle way; being gentle on the planet... so many ways I hope to apply it.
Thank you for all the inspiration and encouragement you provide, Ali. :-)

I can't decide between two words for my word of the year. I'm torn between BREATHE and RELAX. In both my immediate and extended family we have some serious health issues to deal with in 2010 and I'm going to have to do a lot of both of those things to emotionally survive them. Scrapbooking, journaling, telling the stories will be the way I will cope. Thanks for the wonderful opportunity to win such fabulous products. I read your blog every day and am regularly inspired.

My word resolution is to make a story page a week. I have chosen the word story for this year too.
I also love the idea from Elizabeth Fleming that life is a series of small events. I want to be more aware of the pictures I take to go along with my story. I want my pictures & my words to tell a more real/well rounded story of my life.

Every year I say I'm going to choose a word, and every year, I cannot decide what word to choose! Same with everything I try to do, decide, resolve, whatever. So, this year, I choose for my word to be "ACT," to remind me to act on what I decide to do, whether I'm sure of something or not!

My new slogan for the year is "Just Do It!" (not very original, I know...) With a new little babe and a 2yo at my house, it's crazy. I could get overwhelmed with the millions of tiny tasks that make up my daily existence, or I can choose each day to do something new, make a great memory with the kiddos, try a new recipe, play with blocks for an extra ten minutes, ignore the laundry and go for a walk... anything. Not worrying about what isn't getting washed, fixed, cooked, cleaned... When inspiration hits, I'm going to JUST DO IT!
