168 Hours : Welcome To A Week In The Life

Glad to get Ali's inspiration and start the creative juices flowing. I always think my life is about as everyday as you can get, rather routine, but there is joy in the everyday! Looking for the joy!

I have all my supplies and am excited about documenting this time in our lives.
The baby themed giveaways are perfect as we are getting ready to have #3.

Was is special/exceptional about me?...I love order, but don't dust; I am neat, but my scrap table is a mess; I read like a fiend, but can never finish a magazine; I love chocolate, but don't keep it in the house...unique is just about the right word to describe me.

One of the special things about me...hhmm. I can find beauty in most anything; you know, the silver lining, lemons to lemonade type thing.

I am the Mom of a beautiful daughter with Down syndrome and a fabulous son heading off to college. I also teach undergraduates who will become speech language pathologists. I love my life!!!

I am excited to see how this week turns out!

What a great first day! Lots of pictures and notes! Thanks for the inspiration!

This is starting out to be so fun. I've taken some random photos and am thinking about how to put it all together.
As for something special about me, I love to send cards to people who need a pick me up. It started with a friend's mom. I didn't even know her, but when I found out she had breast cancer I asked for her address and began sending her cards. From there, I started sending cards to several others going through similar trials. Fortunately many of them don't "need" me any more. It's such a little thing that I can do, but it truly means so much to the person on the receiving end.

I am forgiving, that is one thing I like about myself.

I'm not special or exceptional. I'm just me.

I think this project is really great although I must admit, I thought it´d be easier. First of all I find it a little bit difficult to integrate taking photos all the time but then it seems even harder to take good photos (since most of them are taken inside either with to much ISO and thus coarse-grained or with an anfavorable flash light). When looking at the results of the participants so far each of them seems to have perfect shots - so what is your trick ladies? wanna share? ;)

Im so excited to do this project... I haven't scraped for myself in some time... it would be great to get one of these giveaways to help me along...

Well the week started on a High.......Stocktake at work :) counting, counting, counting,...you get the picture and yes I did get lots of pictures to start a week in my life. The quote is perfect not only did I put in a good hards day work, I worked to the point that I was that tired I ended up horizontal on the couch when I got home from a 10 hour day, and yes .... I got a pic of that too lol
