The rain is inspiring me this week...to take a break from busy summer!!

I am feeling inspired by my two children...they are growing up so fast that I am really trying to take in the "hear and now". Have a great weekend!

I am inspired by my 15 yr old son. He started working on his Eagle project this week. It was really cool to see him in the leadership role - giving direction, working hard and making sure everyone knew how much their time/talent were appreciated.

Looking through my DisneyWorld pictures this week has really inspired me, I'm a HUGE disney lover, it's such a wonderfully creative place, with all the details, and well...magic!

Inspiration for me right now is anything that DOESN'T include technology. I looked around last night and realized that my husband was playing video games, I was watching a DVD on our laptop, and my two-year old was playing games on the iphone. I looked at my husband and said, "That's it, we're going out this weekend and doing something that doesn't require technology!" We're going to the zoo tomorrow...the only piece of technology allowed is our camera. Can't wait to come up with a great page for our zoo visit. I'm also signing up for Kelly Purkey's Sketchbook 2 class next week! Can't wait to get some great inspiration from that!

I've been taking the "Eight is Enough challenge" over at Studio Calico. Its really inspired me to get creative with the most minimal of supplies. It has re-focussed my attention onto the story and the photo. I love the look of the card kit - perfect colours and summery inspiration.

God is inspiring me this week. I am relying on Him to get me through some surgery recovery. (minor) But had some side effects I wasn't so happy about and am learning to trust Him and the right timing for healing and when i can finally run again.

Right now I'm being inspired by Shimelle and her wonderful class called "Love Your Pictures, Love Your Pages."

I am currently planning a trip to NYC and am being inspired by art books on the Metropolitan Museum of Art, one of my favorite places to spend an afternoon.

My inspiration this week - we just got back from vacation on the coast of Maine. I love sitting on the beach listening to the ocean and watching my kids play in the sand. It's so relaxing. The sun, the ocean, the blue sky - what could be better?
