GIVEAWAY :Two people will receive the July card kit from Creative
Cards Homeschool
You know the feeling of receiving a handmade card? It makes you feel extra special. Sometimes it’s even better than the gift itself. Giving a handmade card is an even better feeling as the person you are giving it to gushes over your hard work and creativity. Share these feelings with those you love and care for and make your occasions and gifts just a little bit more personal and from the heart.
Creative Cards Homeschool is a monthly card kit club. We make the creativity easy by providing kits with beautifully designed cards and reasonable prices. Each kit is designed with a color scheme, the latest papers, hand drawn art, unusual buttons and trims and lots of little details.
This month Creative Cards is celebrating its birthday. To celebrate we have included a 6th card in this kit titled “Thank you from the bottom of my heart”, a thank you to all our customers new and old for a wonderful two years.
Also this month all new subscribers will be entered into a drawing to receive next month’s kit (August) for free!

This week I have been inspired by the feeling you get when you have a clean, organized junk drawer. Goofy, I know, but I want that feeling to spread all over my house.

Recently, my mom agreed to let me take 5 HUGE tubs of photos and memorabilia that she collected over the last twenty to thirty years home with me to organize. Every time I dig into these I am inspired by the memories, the love and the happiness that I see in these huge stacks of photos!

The rain & cooler weather has inspired me to get some much needed flower bed cleaning done. We hardly ever get rain in July in West Texas.

We went to the Norman Rockwell exhibit in DC on WED. I am finding myself thinking about lighting and composition as I take pictures since visiting the exhibit. I didn't realize how much photography Rockwell used before painting. A very amazing display and I recommend it to anyone in the area.

The raspberry bushes in our backyard are a big inspiration for a new scrapbook page. As soon as we pull into the driveway after getting home from work, we meet in the backyard and pick raspberries from our bushes. We talk about our days and our plans for that evening before going in to get ready for dinner. It has become something of a ritual.

My son went berry picking at a farm during his summer camp and brought home a big zip bag of berries. I think I'm going to make all kinds of bake goods; pies, muffins, bread...Yum! Yum!

Inspired today by my own stash of papers and printed cardstock. I got new wire organizers yesterday and sorted all the supplies by color group. Sometimes it was hard to put the papers in the rack instead of just leaving it out to play with... right now!
