My son inspired me this week with his optimism and determination. He was at Boy Scout camp here in NJ this week in 100 degree heat. While most of us adults were complaining from our air conditioned rooms about our "discomfort" with the current temperatures, my son was out there plugging away with his buddies, attending classes outside all day...determined to obtain the last few Merit Badges needed to make Eagle Scout. He encouraged the new scouts to keep hydrated and helped them through the week with his cheery attitude.

I recently bought a hibiscus at a cute little garden store near my sister's new house in Wisconsin. Over the last week it has slowly gotten closer to blooming. This morning? 3 beautiful peach-colored blooms! Nature's beauty at it's best is what is inspiring me today!

I am inspired by my daughter's preparations to leave home and go away to college--she's my first.

Bees! bees are everywhere I saw a beautiful bumble bee yesterday, it like a drawing deeep black with the yellow ring, I had never seen one uite like this one...

I am inspired every day by my 3 kids. They are all at different stages and it just amazes me to see them all growing and finding their own way!

The ocean is really inspiring me this week-things I have created recently really have a lot of those gorgeous shades of blue and movement to them.

We are in the process of adding a half bath in our house, and looking at all of the new innovative tile really inspired me. There are so many fabulous products out there! The textures, materials and colors are amazing and really inspired many of my cards in the last few weeks.

The quickly upcoming birth of my second son us a never ending source of inspiration!

The sunshine! After a long, rainy spring, it is so nice to have warm sunshine to enjoy the summer with.

I'm being inspired by the explore function on my Flickr iPhone app. It's been so long since I've gotten out my camera, and just viewing other people's creativity helps me out. I've also started back in reading blogs, such as yours and Elsie Flannigan's. The passion you guys bring is a total inspiration for me to dust off the supplies and get back to it.

This week, as many weeks in the past, my inspiration has been my many creative friends. Sarah, Crystal, Sara, Lex... they are all so wonderfully talented.

I am inspired when I find new blogs and see new and different ways to approach photography and scrappbooking.
