On The Way Out

Hope the move goes smoothly! Not sure which I dislike more... the packing or unpacking. Both seem kinda chaotic no matter how organized you are. Always nice to be moving to more space though. Hav fun!

Yeah, that's a good question. I'm going to lean toward "unpacking" being slightly better, since you're excited (usually) about the new place.
I'm one of those really bad movers, though, that takes at least a year before every box is finally unpacked. It's just so overwhelming and I'm not good choosing places for things.

Congrats on the move Ali - I hope it goes smoothly for all of you. I can't wait to see pictures of the new place - so exciting to move to a bigger spot. All the best!

Good luck with the move and organization. We are also in the process of moving (from Boulder, Colorado to Portland, Oregon).
I am almost done going through all of my scrapbook stuff, too. We are downsizing, though, so I had to reduce my stuff by more than half! I found a good friend to give it to so she can start scrapping. At least I know the items will be put to use.
My mantra has been to tackle an area for decluttering and decide if those items should go with us each night!

I'm so glad that you are moving to a bigger home but so sorry you have to do all of that work. Enjoy your discoveries.

When we moved from the Seattle area to Vancouver, WA two years ago, it took one of our movers four and a half hours to pack my craft room. He was on our moving team when we got to our new house. I thought he would run screaming when he realized who he was unpacking that day! You should have seen the look on his face. Too funny!

We have loved this place :). Sad to leave but ready for a little more space.

We moved cross country in March. :/ I can't wait to see your new house! I'm still trying to organize all the craft stuff I forgot I had!

I do not envy your next month or month(s). We moved from KY to Alaska and it just always seems to take longer than planned...
Hope Simon is excited.. I know sometimes it is rough with all the 'change'.
