One thing I loved about school....when it was OVER!!!! I hated school as a child, I was a bit of a live wire and a big day dreamer so it was not a fun place for me. Ok, maybe not was, I am!!!!

I loved being with my friends. Didn't have the cell phones and Facebook back then to be able to communicate nonstop like you can today.

I loved the first day of school with my new clothes and new school supplies, seeing my friends again. And then lunch time when we could talk...that was fun too.

I loved everything about school....the new school supplies (I'm still a sucker for a new package of crayons), listening to my teachers, spending time with my friends. I wish that I had become a teacher!

I also loved the school supply shopping. I guess that is why I still love shopping for supplies to help out the local supply donations!

I loved, in first grade, that my teacher gave us Lucky Charms (just one or two pieces at a time) as a reward for answering questions right! I always ate mine right away, but my first grade 'boyfriend' would save his and sometimes give me one of the marshmallow pieces :)
