Today I'm joining a protest of perfection with a giveaway of my friend Dr. Brené Brown's new book The Gifts of Imperfection: Let Go of Who You Think You're Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are
I'm going to keep this simple: this book could change your life. You'll laugh, probably cry, learn a bunch about shame, resilience, kindness, letting go, compassion, mindfulness, and come out of the experience with ammunition for the fight against perfectionism.
Perfection is so over-rated. Imperfect is beautiful and real.

BTW - if I tried to write that sign Ali is holding up - I would have to re-do it at least 3 times to get it to look as cool as hers on the first try. Ali - you made that sign with one try didn't you. :-)
