Attended a local fall festival. It was fun! Got to see some old school friends.

My son is home for Fall Break from college this weekend, so we've been having a great time as a family, including celebrating his birthday a week early while he is home! I'm doing a Week in Our Life album to document it all! I did one three years ago when my daughter came home for Fall Break and it holds special memories. I'm amazed at how much of our daily life is the same, and yet how different in just a few years!

I'm in Baltimore cheering on my favorite people at their half marathon!

I am visiting my family this weekend, getting the kiddos together and getting some much needed help with my new twins. I love family!

I went to a Seattle Sounders game last night! It was mega-exciting - the fan spirit is palpable... so contagious! It was a clear and gorgeous Seattle night that I looked forward to all week :)

We went to the local university's Homecoming parade. It was a beautiful day.

What a fun kit. I am working on my DD2010, planning other projests for a ladies retreat next month and working in the garden. I love cooler weather and the opportunity to win some cool stuff.

We are having a fun-filled weekend celebrating my oldest daughter's 11th birthday! Friday kicked it off with painting our "Guardian Angels" canvas at Sips N Strokes. Tomorrow it is lunch and birthday cake with friends!

I love Evalicious! Today I have made some really cool accessories for myself (2 scarves from vintage handkerchiefs, an owl pin and a flower pin in the works) and my grandaughters (an owl hair clip and a re-purposed corduroy skirt). It has been a very productive, creative day. My favorite kind!!

I planted daffodils and tulips to greet me in the spring and I potted up some bulbs to force for some winter cheer. Hope you are having a great weekend.

My weekend was Thursday & Friday this week, and so we went on a hike at Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument. It was a perfect fall day in Colorado, and we heard a mountain lion scream, saw a doe run out of the forest into the meadow, then watched her walk around, going back into the forest. We waited a while, then kept going on the hike, and my husband saw the fawn (still with spots) hiding under a tree trunk, so we booked it out of there while talking really loud. It was a very exciting hike! Thanks for the chance to win such a beautiful art journal.

How about a scrapbooking retreat weekend? Kinda cool that they have internet access. Going to print off some journaling on the 'puter next. It's been productive and fun!
