on Saturday we had a fun day of chatting, eating and creating during our traditional 'mutsendag' with lots of women in the family. We come together a few times a year to create cards, scrapbookpages, Christmas decorations or whatever we think of! It was a great day!

This weekend I went to the pumpkin patch, re-organized my craft space, and completed 2 scrap layouts and 2 cards! I plan to do more paper crafting. :) Thank you for the giveaway.

My two girls, my parents and I are going Geocaching for the first time today. I sure hope we find the treasure, or else I'm afraid the girls won't find it much fun.

I've been sewing. Finished up a baby quilt and a couple burp cloths and started this super cute quilted purse. I love good days like this!

I did some Halloween crafts with my girls and baked pumpkin bread. Not sure what's in store for tomorrow... I'm 39 weeks 3 days pregnant with #3 so hopefully like the PP I can meet my baby this weekend!

this weekend we're having friends over for some alton brown inspired BBQ and drinks. sunday, will be a lovely day of recovery.

I am going to finish the Christmas ornament for our 2009 ornament swap. Yep, that's right it's for last year's CHristmas. Due to several reasons we couldn't get together earlier and now it'll take place next Saturday. The sun is shining here, it's a crisp autumn day, so perfect time for some crafting.

We have had a Mad Hatters Tea Party for my daughters birthday so have baked and decorated and had fun and the costumes were great

Today we attended the wedding of a young man who we have known since he was 5 years old (20 years). His wedding was held on a lake and I mean "ON" a lake in the beautiful mountains fo WNC. The facility is a lodge built of stone with a long walkway from the shore. It was a gorgeous blue sky kind of day. A perfect day for two people to marry and start their lives together.

This weekend we are finally getting our house decorated for Halloween. Lots of crafts going on here :)

we are going to a farm nearby, we are going with two close families and their two children (1year and 1.5years). Our daughter is just 0.5 years (AH TIME!) but we will go see and pet farm animals and enjoy the beautiful fall weather! It is sunny, but nice cold outside!
I love fall weather like this. In the low 40°s but sunny! Get on your wool-underjammies and winterjackets and out you go! Wohoooo!

Great great giveaway! Here in South Africa we suddenly have cold weather for this weekend, so I suppose after cricket and swimming gala's we will have a nice Sunday inside catching up on some TV and movie time.
