Hi ali!! We have just had the most awesome two days of spring here in South Africa and my husband and I have just cleaned and scrubbed and started to fill our portable pool! It was so much fun watching him and my 19 month old son splashing about in the pool while it was filling up! many good times are on the way this summer! We will definately be having a poolside Christmas this year!!

met up with my aunt and my grandma from abroad. the whole family went out to grab lunch and catch up. :)

For me this weekend, it's a 12km walk/jog along the coast. Some might not call it fun - but when you do it with friends it's all worth it.

Today I am cleaning my scraproom, believe it or not this is fun for me :)

my son went to a birthday party, did some shopping and chores around the house.

we took our 16-month-old twins to a farmer's market/petting zoo and had a great time picking pumpkins, visiting animals, and watching them try to navigate the uneven ground with their new walking skills!

this weekend we are taking it easy after a hard week at work

We spent Saturday on the lake pulling kids on tubes and kneeboards. The last hooray of the summer.

We have a dear friend spending the weekend with us. Yesterday was a beautiful day for football and today we are going to a pumpkin patch. I love fall weekends!

Laughed so hard I cried, what a wonderful day! Taking pictures of
my granddaughter today at the pumpkin patch for her senior year book. Pumpkins, apples, and hot chocolate. It's going to be another wonderful day! This kit would be so much fun to do.

We took our 18 month old grandaughter to the Pumpkin Patch....where she only wanted to pat the chicks in the animal area. I think she has her holidays confused. Jack-O-Chick????

My husband and I are celebrating our 9th date-aversary by going back to the restaurant where we met for our first blind date. We'll celebrate 7 years of wedded bliss in December.
