We are going to my Grandpa's 85th birthday party today. Should be fun!!

We had a family movie night...with movie candy and popcorn and soda. We watched "How to Train Your Dragon" which was absolutely delightful!

We live in the mountains of North Carolina and we took a nice drive on the Parkway (Scenic Drive through the Blue Ridge Mountains) to see all the beautiful colors of the fall. The colors are just now beginning to show so we will probably make another Parkway Drive within the week to see how much more color we can see. I love the fall.

Evalicious rocks!!! I love all her stuff! Went to a fall festival/craft fair yesterday, planning on making some luminaries with the kids for Halloween night using jars from the recycling bin today. And hopefully some creating of my own!

We are picking up the Wii game the son earned with his good school attitude.

Had an impromptu staycation in the city. Went to an old bookstore, farmers market, and oldest cemetery in town...super cool.

My husband and I went to a Halloween party as Frankenstein and the pregnant bride of Frakenstein! It was so much fun :o)

I am planting up pots of pansies, violas and spring bulbs with my kids this weekend! We're all really enjoying the start of our week off school for half term break!

this weekend we've been spending time with my parents-in-law. they live quite far away and so haven't been able to spend much time with their granddaughter. so just nice, ordinary family time. but they also babysat on friday, so my husband and I got date night for the first time since she's been born:)

I took my 3 children to the University of Alabama homecoming parade yesterday and my husband and I went to the game last night. Even though we live down the street from campus, we rarely go to games. Lots of fun!

What a wonderful kit! I was yesterday (saturday) on the Symphony in Rosso Concert Featuring STING and it was so great! (I have put some photo's on my blog)

Our next door neighbors moved out to the country and last night they had us over to their new place for a big bonfire with mulled wine. YUM!

We are enjoying Homecoming with my youngest daughter. It is so fun to see her enjoying life, and getting involved. High School is so hard for kids right now; it makes me happy that she has found her place there! Thanks Ali for all your inspiration and great giveaways! I am almost done preparing my Dec. Daily!!
