I love decorating the Christmas tree. This year my youngest daughter is old enough to understand the magic surrounding Christmas so it will be fun to have her hang her stocking and help with ornaments.

I love the creative inspiration that only the holidays seem to provide. I'm most aware of design and handiwork, and I seem to find more motivation during this time of year than any other. And the holiday spirit that is all around me provides the jumpstart I need to actually accomplish the projects that I have planned. Best time of year!

I am looking forward to having 2 weeks off work for the first time in years! I plan decorate beforehand and be a homebady with my family for many of the evenings. It's been years since I've been able to watch all the Christmas shows we all love, wrap gifts together at a "normal" time of the evening, write my cards without feeling rushed and enjoy the candles on our advent wreath....so I'm looking forward to working less/making more memories this year.
