Every year about this time I start looking forward to everything that comes with the holidays. My favorite is always family visiting. Every year we host our Annual Conyers' Christmas at our house. So the holiday season is a lot of catching up, hugs, laughs and more laughs. Being together.

That wonderful feeling of freedom that only the holidays can give you. Freedom to sleep in, stay up late, pursue creativity, bake cookies, cuddle, decorate, all those wonderful things that just come too short while I'm busy living my everyday life.

I love everything about the holidays, shopping for gifts, making decorations, and catching up with family and friends. But the thing is most love and get excited about every year is playing Santa. Christmas eve is such a joy for me, I kiss my kids goodnight and then wait for them to go to sleep just so I can put their presents under the tree. Love it.

I look forward to time off and spending time with family. This will be the 2nd Christmas without Mom - last year we shared memories about her and I hope we do the same this year - it was fun to hear from everyone about their memories of Mom or Grandma!
I am also looking forward to spending the holidays with my new Grandson Jack!

I enjoy the hustle and bustle of preparation that leads up to the actual day.Perhaps, it conjures the feelings of excitement that I had when I helped as a child .I become my mother on Christmas Eve!
