Goodbye 2010 | Hello 2011

CULTIVATE is my word for 2011 & although it won't look pretty stamped on a silver charm and won't really look great displayed in scrabble letters, it is a great word that applies to so much with so much potential and so many possibilities.
My goal for the new year is to work my word into daily life creatively, spiritually, physically and mentally...within my family, my friendships, my relationship with God and to apply it, practice it, pray on it and enjoy it each day...

This is my first time to do One Little Word. I have chosen the word PURPOSE. I want all that I do to be determined by it's true purpose. Before doing big and small things in my life I want to ask myself, "What's the purpose?" If it's a postive purpose then I want to have the drive to complete it. If it's a negative purpose then I want to evaluate it be honest with myself to choose to do a better option. Thank you for inspiring this!

My 'One Little Word' for 2011 is EXPERIENCE. This little word is packed with BIG possibilities.
Over the past several years, I have found myself daydreaming about doing "this or that", but never putting any action behind it. 2011 is going to be different. I may even use my Passport for the 1st time!

Happy New Year, and terrific family picture! I am truly excited to be experiencing Yesterday/Today again, as well as One Little Word for the first time! My word for this new year will be IMAGINE. It came to me recently upon hearing a conversation about art and life, and the beginning of this sentence hit me like a ton of bricks: "Can you imagine....". Yes, I can. And if I can imagine it (whatever that may be), I can do it. I imagine good things to come for 2011, and for me, it all starts with this!
