I am thankful for a husband who hung with kids and a mother-in-law for helping, too. I got to spend 3 days up on Orcas Island with my mom quilting. I love that place. :)

I am thankful for a day in the basketball gym. I started the day dreading it but it turned out to be great--- having adult talk with fellow moms, watching our kids try new things with their teammates; listening to Sonny Hill inspire us and seeing lots of smiles!

I am thankful that my chore list was surprisingly short this weekend and I'm able to spend it having fun with my two boys! I need to thank my hubby for doing some house work this week!

I'm so thankful for my scrapbooking friends! We met at our LSS, Scrapbook Generation in Springfield, MO and now we meet there every Saturday morning for a sketch session!! We have a ball and enjoy each other's company so much that you'd think we had known each other all of our lives when in fact it hasn't even been a year. Today I was hungry so we decided to go out for pizza and then to one of their homes.....it was all decided at the last minute so our layout class led into an all day event! It turns out that we all really needed a girls day away from home and kids and grandkids and husbands!! We laughed, we cried, we leaned on shoulders, we ate and most importantly we scrapped!! I had an awesome day!! And I'm so thankful for it!!
