Three people will receive a word necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
Lisa's been a great supporter of One Little Word the past few years and came up with a really lovely design for this year's words. For 2011, "the word of the year necklace is a thick, narrow tag with a large ball, strung from sterling chain and finished with a freshwater pearl. we'll hand-stamp the tag with your very own word."
A simple necklace is a wonderful way to commemorate your one little word.

Time with my boys (13 and 8). I was laid-off in June (which I admit sounds like a bad thing); but I was able (and very grateful) to take the time through the end of the year to not work and spend quality time with them before starting my new job search. Look out 2011! Thanks for the fun giveaway Ali. Happy New Year!

IN 2010 our oldest son graduated from high school and successfully finished his first semester of college. This is a wonderful achievement for a young man that has always struggled in the world of academia...we're so happy for him and proud of his accomplishments!

I am thankful that I finished work in June and my husband and I decided that it would be good for the family for me to take some time off to spend the time with the kids (8 & 11). They have really enjoyed having me home and our home has been much more relaxed. We have done okay with the financial side too, so there is no rush for me to go back. The other upside is more time to scrapbook!

I am most grateful for our 2nd daughter who arrived in January. I had a difficult pregnancy during which i was very nervous about the change a second child would make to our very happy little family of 3 (especially how our eldest would deal with it).
CHarlotte is the loveliest, happiest, sweetest little blessing ever. I'm SO grateful that she is who she is, and that she's in our family now.

Wonderful giveaways, Ali. Something I'm so grateful for during the year 2010 is the addition of our first granddaughter in July. When someone tells you how wonderful it is to be a grandma, you just don't really have the full knowledge of what that means until it happens. Becoming a grandma is a wonderful experience and I'm truly grateful for her and her parents, who live so close which allows me to see my granddaughter often.

We all worked extremely hard in 2010. However, I am thankful to God for how well my 11 year old settled into his first year of high school. He took on the responsability with gusto and exceeded what we all expected. Wow! what a beautiful young man!
