Three people will receive a word necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
Lisa's been a great supporter of One Little Word the past few years and came up with a really lovely design for this year's words. For 2011, "the word of the year necklace is a thick, narrow tag with a large ball, strung from sterling chain and finished with a freshwater pearl. we'll hand-stamp the tag with your very own word."
A simple necklace is a wonderful way to commemorate your one little word.

I am grateful for my health this year. This last year I decided to follow more of my creative efforts and to stick to them. I loved this year, and frankly I think I was healthier for it.

I learned to sew in 2010, and made a few projects I really love. What I love more is having learned something I previously thought was too difficult to master.

I am grateful that my hubby finally got a job after being unemployed for 3 1/2 yrs. He received a phone call @ 4:20pm Dec. 10th to come in for an interview that following Monday, in the mean time we were packing up to leave for another state the next morning to look for work because there is nothing here, and we were going to be foreclosed on. We would of lost everything, but now he's gained employment and things are looking brighter for us. I'm still looking for work after 9 months, but he starts work on Jan. 3rd.!!!!

In 2010 we celebrated a huge 75th birthday and we also attended the funeral of a dear loved one. There were accomplishments and illnesses, challenges and victories, lots of laughing and lots of tears. I am most grateful for a family that supports each other through it all. I am very blessed and 2010 was a year that helped me remember that.
