Sponsor Giveaways | The Mother Load, Summer Card Camp 2011
GIVEAWAY |One person will receive a spot in Lain Ehmann's upcoming 13-week online class at Big Picture Classes: The Mother LOAD: A Scrapbook Marathon
SPECIAL OFFER | In addition to receive $20 off of The Mother LOAD use code: load2011
Are you a marathon scrapbooker? Do you want to be? As crazy as it may sound, scrapbookers have a lot in common with runners. Both can run into the same problems – lack of time, isolation, a routine that has become more of a drudgery than a help. The good news? You can easily overcome these obstacles.
No, Lain won’t make you run 26.2 miles in just a few hours – but she will challenge you to scrapbook 26 layouts in 26 days! Through The Mother LOAD - A Scrapbook Marathon, part of the 4Experts series for 2011, Lain will show you how committing to making scrapbooking a priority in your life will help you:
Scrapbook faster
Love your pages more
Actually USE your stash
Connect with what you love best about this hobby of ours
The first two months of class will be spent on “basic training” to increase your stamina, refine your process, and get you mentally and physically ready for the ultimate challenge: creating a layout a day for the first 26 days of September. After you cross the finish line, there will be time for reflection – and celebration!

I don't have a link that inspired me this past week as we were on vacation at the beach all week...therefore I spent less time on the computer and more time with my 2 boys building sand castles and being inspired by their awesome sense of wonder

I was inspired to create something "out of the box" when my daughter and friends went to a local skating rink and we used their photo booth! I remembered Ali's love of photobooths and the girls loved it. Can't wait to turn it into a thank you note.

I was SO inspired by Tim Holtz's tutorial about kraft glassine this week: http://timholtz.typepad.com/my_weblog/2011/06/kraft-glassine-ideas.html
Either one of those classes would be awesome, but especially the card class, since I seem to be making cards non-stop right now! Lots of celebrating lately!

I have recently stopped focusing so much on my pages having to be works of art. I want to get my memories down to share with others. I came across this blog this week - I have a Provocraft Imagine so I am planning on using the matching rgb codes to create some coordinating (colors) embellishments!

As I train for a 1/2 marathon, this inspired me. Hurting is okay. Hard work is okay. There are rewards in both. :)

We are changing some rooms around in our house and I seen some world maps used on walls in frames or papered. I've seen them in about 3 differnent sites or magazines, so was inspired to go to the garage and get our framed world map and try it in the guest room and it is a nice change. We need to update the pins in it from our trips.

What a great giveaway - both classes sound so amazing and helpful since I scrapbook and make cards. I have been inspired this week by the American Crafts Confetti papers and Thickers, they were so adorable when I saw them at my LSS that I immediately scrapped a few layouts of my kids birthdays!

Just came from KP's blog (www.kellypurkey.typepad.com) and was very inspired by the mini she's doing for her Thailand trip! Especially so because I'm embarking on my own adventure to Europe!

These look like great classes. It's important to learn your art and find it improving from the study. Glad to see this in the scapbooking world :)

This past week, I was inspired by my Finding Photo Freedom class at Big Picture Classes. I've been looking through a ton of photos that I want to scrap!
Those two classes sound so fun! I enjoyed Lain's free LOAD class at Big Picture a couple of years back. I started being able to make quicker decisions about my layouts because I realized that I didn't need to obsess about every detail.
Thanks for the chance to win this and the Summer Card Camp class!
