What's special? I guess it would be that my husband and I never let strays have to fend for themselves. We have more skinny stray cats show up here for some reason...word is out among the strays apparently. They'll find food, shelter and safety here, leave if they want, stay if they want. If they stay, they get neutered and are given shots through our local feral cat program and get to live a good life. They didn't ask to be born, nor did they deserve to be abandoned. Fortunately we live in a rural area.

As a kindergarten teacher, I've spent a good deal of my summer vacation brushing up on my teaching and technology skills... but at the end of the day, my inner artist has been running amok. Visitors can no longer find my coffee table as it is covered with stamps, papers, inks, glitter, etc. I've been spreading the creative joy to my fellow K-pals by making charming distressed notepads to clip to their book bags. (and did I mention my distress inks??? hint, hint, nudge, nudge...)

I am a mom to four wonderful sons, wife to a fabulous husband, grandmother to nine grandchildren and great grandmother to one darling baby! I love to stamp and make cards for everyone all the time - and I collect hearts! Thanks so much for the opportunity to win!!!

I always looks at the posibillity in every situation and have my focus on the positiv thing. I have a positive view on the things that happens in my life. We have not got any children and that might not be positive, but I look at the possibilites that gives us and we have a wonderfull family. That was only one example, there is a lot more.......

I am special because I have a family who thinks I am, even on those days I feel I am not.

I am special because I am a mother of 4 wonderful daughters that don't get invovled in drama and they don't save for their momma. LOL!! I am so blessed. That means lot's of time to scrapbook and make cards and craft.

I just love being - stamping - gardening - watching TV with my husband of 41 years.

This may be a crazy one, but I think I am good at disciplining our two year old and keeping my cool. I hate putting him in time out (what parent doesn't) but everytime I do i always explain to him why he got put in timeout, how is the nice way to act, and i always give him a kiss and a hug when I let him up and tell him I love him. I think it helps him to understand that I am the parent, but that I still love him. Beats the alternative...screaming like a mad woman at the top of my lungs!!

I am capable, competent, creative and careful!

I have a very good memory of numbers. My boss is always impress when I tell him the extension of the person he's trying to call before he has time to look at the list.

Oh Ali, such an amazing give-away but such a hard question. I may have cheated by asking my husband to answer it for me- but it was a good conversation starter! I am outgoing and inclusive- this makes me special says he! Thanks for a great giveaway and another great project.

Something special about me is that I don't give up. If something is important to me I keep going until I find a way to make it happen.

My studio is in a rustic, crowded garage as that is the only space available to me and I bloom where planted!

I suppose others were looking at a blank page on the other post site also...hmmm... Special about myself? That's a tough one because when I read about the "week in the life"challenge, I told myself that being a retired stay-at-homemaker, my life was so uneventful, I would have nothing to record...NOTHING. Then I started looking at the last few days differently. Irelaized that there a little things, very small events or things, in my day-to-day existance that DO make me Special. I call my elderly parents every day that I can't drive the 60 miles to see them. I create an environment that is a happy, organized one for my husband. And most of all, I try to interract possitivley with those few people I do come in contact with. Would it make for an exciting photo/scrap challenge? Maybe not, but I have decided that it would give some insight to those aroundme and maybe open my own eyes to the possibilities out there. Thanks for the encouragement to see what's already there!
