My favorite tasty at Christmas was my gramma's holiday sugar cookies. Just a simple rolled out dough for cutting holiday shapes. She is now in a nursing home and can't make them anymore. I have the recipe, but only she made them right.

My favorite thing to eat is the wonderful pears and fruit that come in gift baskets. So wonderful after a month or so of not much fresh fruit to pick! I also won't say no to a bowl full of chex mix!

My favorite thing to eat during the holidays are cookies! Any homemade kind will do!

My son is the resident baker and makes trays of cookies and candy for friends and relatives. My favorite is really hard to pick, but I will choose Lebkuchen bars. It is a German recipe that I received from a woman I met in a restaurant years ago. I had them once, and I overheard her talking about making them. I was bold and asked her for the recipe. She was so kind, typed it up and sent it to me.

Hi there! my favorite treat for this time of year are the cookies I bake with my toddler. I used to bake them with my mum as a kid and I have been told that the recipe comes from the mum of her mum... I can't wait for my baby girl to be old enough to join the fun!

My mom makes this Filipino dish called sopas. It's basically pasta in a soup that's made from chicken broth, milk, and cheese. Very yummy!

Oooo. Christmas food and sweets. Melomakarona I think is what I look forward the most during Christmas. A Cypriot traditional sweet made only for the season.

My mom used to make what she always just called Christmas Balls. She'd make dough from scratch (as a child I was fascinated by the rising/punching down steps), roll pieces into balls, roll the balls in cinnamon, sugar, and chopped nuts, and then place them all in a bundt pan lined with foil. It would get baked and then stored in the fridge to be heated up and eaten with butter on Christmas morning. For a few years after I moved out, I would still get my foil wrapped package. It's been years. I'm drooling. LOL

My all time favourite eating is my Grams' apple pie! It's pretty much the PERFECT apple pie!!!

I love mint Frangos. They were originally made by the Bon Marche in Seattle, but they are now sold by Macy's.

I love to eat prawns with sweet chilli mayo, mango and salad leaves - its getting hot here in Western Australia and the seafood is beautiful at this time of year! Thanks for the great giveaway!

LOL! I know this is going to sound weird, but I used to make deviled eggs every Christmas, when my ds was growing up. I love having deviled eggs for holidays :-D
