If you'd like to learn more about my site check out my Welcome or About Ali pages.
Here's a look at a stamp I love from the new catalog and the one I'm using in my layout today:
Hello zig zag!
I decided to do a page that highlights some of the things I love about Anna right now.
Here's a look at my process:
I used the new Hero Arts Zig Zag stamp to create a pattern on my white cardstock with Jenni Bowlin Chewing Gum and Malted Milk inks. I didn't stress about making it perfect because I knew I would be adding content on top.
I started by adding a sticker border (Sassafras for Studio Calico) along the bottom - popping it up with foam dots.
I knew I wanted the title to read "Things I love" and I hoped it would fit in that space. Chipboard letters are American Crafts Goodness by Amy Tangerine.
Photo is 4x6 and was printed with a white border.
And yes, another one of those wood flags is popping up here. I love those things.
"Beautiful" is from a set of GCD Studios Melody Ross Soul Food Collection Chipboard Stickers.
For the journaling I used one of my Awakening 4x6 overlays. I opened it in Photoshop, added my text and printed on cardstock.
Along the bottom of the overlay I added a bit of washi tape (I think that came in a Studio Calico kit), her initials in those great little Lily Bee alphabet letter stickers, and an old metal arrow (I think from 7gypsies). Love those arrows. Someone should make those again.

First, she is SO cute!
My favorite holiday tradition is Christmas Eve -- we do bingo, eat appetizers for dinner, open a gift, and read the story from the bible. The kid's excitement is over the top and it's so fun.
Thanks for the chance to win, Ali!

My favorite holiday tradition is getting with family friends, that are basically family and doing what we call, "bake-off". We get together and bake christmas cookies all day, have pizza for lunch, and then divide up the cookies that we haven't already eaten! Thanks so much for the opportunity! The chevron stamp is very cute!

When we were really little, we would help put the tree up and put lights on it on Christmas Eve but "Santa" put all the ornaments and stuff for Christmas morning. We'd wake up and everything would be covered with sheets because we had to go to Church first. Dad would also go in first and turn all the lights back on, rearrange the furniture and get everything perfect.

Super sweet layout! My favorite holiday tradition is hard to choose! I'll share two: one is decorating our Christmas tree and watching our first holiday movie the day after Thanksgiving. The second would have to be making Christmas cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve.

I have many favorites at Christmas time (baking cookies for friends and neighbors, decorating the tree, etc) but over the years my all time favorite has been attending the 11:00 pm candlelight service at church and singing Silent Night by the light of the candles!

My favorite tradition would be a toss-up between driving at night through neighborhoods famous for their lavish, lit, and animated decorated homes and Tim's 12 lavish, lit and animated Tags.

My favorite tradition is decorating the tree and remembering all of the memories of years past. We give an ornament to our kids each year and it's definitely a trip down memory lane when we decorate the tree. They have had so many different interests and passions throughout the years.
Thanks for the chance!

LOVE how you used that stamp- I always get stuck on how to use the big background pattern stamps. My favorite holiday tradition is the little "adventures" we have on the days leaing up to Christmas- annual trips to the zoo, Botanical Gardens, etc. It feels so nice to be making these new traditions with my little family.
