If you'd like to learn more about my site check out my Welcome or About Ali pages.
Here's a look at a stamp I love from the new catalog and the one I'm using in my layout today:
Hello zig zag!
I decided to do a page that highlights some of the things I love about Anna right now.
Here's a look at my process:
I used the new Hero Arts Zig Zag stamp to create a pattern on my white cardstock with Jenni Bowlin Chewing Gum and Malted Milk inks. I didn't stress about making it perfect because I knew I would be adding content on top.
I started by adding a sticker border (Sassafras for Studio Calico) along the bottom - popping it up with foam dots.
I knew I wanted the title to read "Things I love" and I hoped it would fit in that space. Chipboard letters are American Crafts Goodness by Amy Tangerine.
Photo is 4x6 and was printed with a white border.
And yes, another one of those wood flags is popping up here. I love those things.
"Beautiful" is from a set of GCD Studios Melody Ross Soul Food Collection Chipboard Stickers.
For the journaling I used one of my Awakening 4x6 overlays. I opened it in Photoshop, added my text and printed on cardstock.
Along the bottom of the overlay I added a bit of washi tape (I think that came in a Studio Calico kit), her initials in those great little Lily Bee alphabet letter stickers, and an old metal arrow (I think from 7gypsies). Love those arrows. Someone should make those again.

What a beautiful background for this lovely little girl.
I love to walk along the beach, find some shell and pieces of wood. Then have a big mug of hot tea with a laaarge piece of Christmas cake.

Beautiful layout. My family tradition has only ONE person opening a gift at a time. That way everyone gets to enjoy the present!

My favorite Christmas tradition is decorating the tree. I have a collection of ornaments from places I've visited and it brings back memories as I take each ornament out to hang on the tree.
I'm liking the zig zag stamp you used and look forward to seeing all the great new stuff in the catalogue

I love your use of the zig zag stamp! Another wonderful layout. Our favorite holiday tradition...do you know we change up our holidays every year so perhaps the common element is the food we cook together whether for special dinners, Christmas brunch or food gifts for family and friends. We pour out our love, gratitude and affection into our food and sharing that food with others. Thanks for the inspiration and chance to win.

Love this layout and your daughter is precious! It's hard to pick a favorite tradition, but I think the best part of the holidays is spending time with family, especially now that they're grown and out of the house. Everyone comes home for Christmas and brings me grandbabies. Love! Thank you for the chance to win some fun Hero Arts stamps.

Gorgeous layout and great use of that fab new HA stamp! One of my favorite holiday traditions is eating leftover dessert for breakfast the day after Christmas! All healthy eating goes out the window for a day or two!!

My favourite holiday tradition is baking with my daughters. We make mince pies, shortbread and gingerbread men. They are old enough now to do it all themselves, but we still do it together and have fun hanging out.

Ali, your layout is beautiful! One of my favorite holiday traditions is to go to Christmas Eve Mass, then come home to hang stockings and read 'twas the Night Before Christmas to the kids before bed.

We always put our Christmas tree up together every year and decorate it with all the trimmings we have collected over the years and those passed down through the family. It's a happy time.
