If you'd like to learn more about my site check out my Welcome or About Ali pages.
Here's a look at a stamp I love from the new catalog and the one I'm using in my layout today:
Hello zig zag!
I decided to do a page that highlights some of the things I love about Anna right now.
Here's a look at my process:
I used the new Hero Arts Zig Zag stamp to create a pattern on my white cardstock with Jenni Bowlin Chewing Gum and Malted Milk inks. I didn't stress about making it perfect because I knew I would be adding content on top.
I started by adding a sticker border (Sassafras for Studio Calico) along the bottom - popping it up with foam dots.
I knew I wanted the title to read "Things I love" and I hoped it would fit in that space. Chipboard letters are American Crafts Goodness by Amy Tangerine.
Photo is 4x6 and was printed with a white border.
And yes, another one of those wood flags is popping up here. I love those things.
"Beautiful" is from a set of GCD Studios Melody Ross Soul Food Collection Chipboard Stickers.
For the journaling I used one of my Awakening 4x6 overlays. I opened it in Photoshop, added my text and printed on cardstock.
Along the bottom of the overlay I added a bit of washi tape (I think that came in a Studio Calico kit), her initials in those great little Lily Bee alphabet letter stickers, and an old metal arrow (I think from 7gypsies). Love those arrows. Someone should make those again.

My favorite holiday tradition has to be watching the marathon of A Christmas Story over and over again despite the fact that we have it on DVD! It's just so much a part of our holiday celebration!

I love both the new Hero Arts stamp you used AND reading everyone's wonderful traditions. It's hard to pick a favorite, but I would have to say attending CandleLight Service on Christmas Eve is mine.

Putting up the Christmas tree is always a lot of fun for our family - going through all of the past ornaments, the ones that are handmade, or special ones bought throughout the years! And we love it when the loungeroom is then filled with twinkle lights!!
Loved your layout - and love the new Hero Arts stamps!!

Probably decorating the Christmas tree is my favorite tradition. Every year my parents would give my sister and I a new ornament and put our name and the year on it so when I'm decorating our tree I get to choose some of the ornaments from growing up (I even have a pair of construction paper mittens I made in preschool - tracing of my hand and connected with yarn!) Now, we give our kids a new ornament every year so that when they have their own home they will have lots of ornaments from their childhood to decorate their own trees with!

Fabulous page! love that stamp!
My favorite holiday tradition is spending Christmas Eve with mom, my sisters' family and my family at the base of the Rocky Mountain for the annual Torchlight parade. We all stand at the base of the mountain by a huge bonfire, drinking hot cocoa and wearing our flashing Rudolph noses while singing Christmas carols. Employees of the ski area ski down with torches glimmering in a beautiful pattern to music. The snowcats follow and then Santa! A huge fireworks display concludes the event. Afterwards, its back to the condo for a traditional meal, "table gifts" and Christmas cookies and milk.
Thanks for the chance to win! :)

I love how you used the background stamp on your page. Great job!
My favorite Christmas tradition WAS ( because kids are grown now )to have the kids do a little skit or play Christmas music for the grandparents on Christmas Eve. We were trying to teach the boys the true meaning of Christmas by them participating in a Christmas Eve presentation. They were so cute and we really enjoyed seeing them "perform."
