If you'd like to learn more about my site check out my Welcome or About Ali pages.
Here's a look at a stamp I love from the new catalog and the one I'm using in my layout today:
Hello zig zag!
I decided to do a page that highlights some of the things I love about Anna right now.
Here's a look at my process:
I used the new Hero Arts Zig Zag stamp to create a pattern on my white cardstock with Jenni Bowlin Chewing Gum and Malted Milk inks. I didn't stress about making it perfect because I knew I would be adding content on top.
I started by adding a sticker border (Sassafras for Studio Calico) along the bottom - popping it up with foam dots.
I knew I wanted the title to read "Things I love" and I hoped it would fit in that space. Chipboard letters are American Crafts Goodness by Amy Tangerine.
Photo is 4x6 and was printed with a white border.
And yes, another one of those wood flags is popping up here. I love those things.
"Beautiful" is from a set of GCD Studios Melody Ross Soul Food Collection Chipboard Stickers.
For the journaling I used one of my Awakening 4x6 overlays. I opened it in Photoshop, added my text and printed on cardstock.
Along the bottom of the overlay I added a bit of washi tape (I think that came in a Studio Calico kit), her initials in those great little Lily Bee alphabet letter stickers, and an old metal arrow (I think from 7gypsies). Love those arrows. Someone should make those again.

My favorite Christmas tradition is putting very special ornaments on our tree. My mother gave me an ornament every year, and when I had a home of my own, she gave me all of the ornaments to be able to decorate my own tree. I have continued the tradition with my kids - they each get a special ornament every Christmas - sometimes it comes from a favorite family vacation, sometimes from Hallmark, sometimes homemade. They all love to put their own ornaments on the tree, and look forward to receiving their own box of ornaments when they eventually move out!
Love the Hero arts stamps!

My favorite Christmas tradition is watching my parents argue while putting on the lights on the Christmas tree. According to my dad, my mom doesn't put them on correctly. I can't tell the difference. My sibs and I just have to laugh.

I liked how you used the zig zag stamp and also tied it together with the washi tape. My favorite family tradition is going out to search for just the right tree and then cutting it down. The kids are now old enough that they cut it down for us and they love the experience.

Love that layout of yours! You're always inspirational! Thank you. My favorite tradition is getting together with my godsisters & godbrothers and celebrating New Year's every year. Our parents used to do it when we were kids, now we carry on the tradition for them. Hopefully our children will do it too. =)

Love your layout -- what a dolly -- and your use of the HA stamp for the background!
My favourite Christmas tradition is when we all get together at my parents home later on Christmas morning and have fried oysters and toast for brunch. Those who don't like oysters get French toast, but we all have a wonderful time together!

It's totally a Christmas classic, but my favorite tradition is decorating the house. Especially with handcrafted decorations, I try to come up with a new idea every year - this year it's a bunch of glittering houses with fake tea lights inside so they look like they're glowing. Swoon.
