This year, in honor of my One Little Word® "give," I'm sharing a hand-drawn quote each Sunday here on my blog.
I am a huge fan of the words of poet Mary Oliver. She recently was interviewed for one of my favorite podcasts, On Being, which you can check out here.
I come back to this quote again and again when I find myself down or afraid. It's a lovely, uplifting battle cry.

(and today I will give by doing some snow shoveling for a neighbor. So how's this: it snowed 8 or 9 inches then turned to sleet leaving a crust and making it heavy, but today it's going up to mid-40s. Maybe it'll melt whispers thru my head until I see tomorrows low of 2; so if I don't get it off today I'll need my ice skates tomorrow. But it is pretty. :)

Thanks for sharing this quote, Ali. I enjoyed the Mary Oliver episode as well and happened upon the same quote it in a magazine recently. I included it on my 2015 OLW vision board.
