Pieces Of The Past 2022 | Prompt 05 : Best Childhood Memory

Welcome back to Pieces Of The Past which is part of our Pieces Of Life series. Today's prompt is "best childhood memory."
One of the things I love about working in a notebook like this is that is can essentially be viewed as a grid to hold my content. There are a number of ways you can add in your photo(s), words, and any patterns or embellishments you'd like to add to support your story. In today's video I consider a few different options before landing on what you see below . Again, no right or wrong!

After considering a variety of options to bring my content together for this spread I landed on a full page of journaling (I'm feeling so happy that I took the time to type this up today) + a custom pattern paper with a pleather circle on top + one photo of me at the pool I called home while growing up.
Next up: A Challenging Chapter

Pieces of the Past is all about childhood? Will you do another pieces of the past about our teen years and one about adult years? Because the most challenging chapter in my life happened as a young mother. But if we will do future things then I might document something from my childhood. Thanks!

This project can be what you want in terms of what you focus on! For the challenging chapter I think you could easily include that story - it's all part of your story. We haven't planned out (beyond Pieces Of Play for later this year) additional chapters in this project.

I am loving watching these process videos I have participated in Pieces of Us and Pieces of Home, this however is the first time I have written down the stories to go with the pictures and had a plan of placing these in my personal 6x8 album. I loved your story from today my husband and eldest daughter spend most of their time at the pool too. My husband says the same as you he learnt and got so much from swimming other than swim training and competitions. Thank you for inspiring me to get more of my stories told.

I am a little confused! I am using the download version and the 05 story is a challenging chapter and 06 is best childhood memory. I feel like I am going mad here!
