Stories By The Month™ Kit Updates For 2026

Here's a sneak peek of the January 2026 Stories By The Month™ kit! This kit will be available on December 10th. If you subscribe today you will receive the December 2025 kit - once the new kit launches on the 10th that would be the time to subscribe if you want to begin with January.
For 2026 the kits will include:
+ 12, 3x4 Paper Cards (three will feature the name of the month + will repeat each month with the same font)
+ 4, 3x4 Vellum Cards
+ 9, 4x6 Paper Cards (one will feature a monthly design that's repeated each month)
+ 3, 4x6 Vellum Cards (one will feature a monthly repeat)
+ 1, 4x6 Chipboard Sheet
+ 1, 4x6 Sticker Sheet (all new designs with no repeats)
+ Custom Paper Die Cut Set (all new designs each month)
Here's a look at the full January kit:
The main changes are that we reduced the number of vellum cards and increased the number of paper cards (same number of cards total). Both the paper die cuts and the sticker sheet will be new designs each month.
We will continue to offer a 3x4 stamp as an Add On that goes along with each month's kit. Subscribers can add that to their box during the 2-day Add On period and have it ship with their subscription.

just to understand - those 3 "JAN" titled 3x4 cards will repeat each month (in different colors with different TLA?). also just trying to get an answer to this Q -- if we have received all 4 storyteller physical kits in 2025, does it switch to quarter to quarter commitment starting next kit, e.g. no cancellation fee if cancel sometime during 2026?

Correct on the cards (same font for each month but different colors). I'm asking for clarification/confirmation and will report back on your quarterly kit question!

Thank you for the sneak! I do appreciate that there is a cut back in the amount of vellum. I love using vellum but 2025 had a lot! And I love the repeated elements every month! Makes for a cohesive album!

Thanks for the blog post to preview the 2026 SBTM kit! More paper cards with a bit of vellum works well for how I scrapbook. I like the repetition of 3x4 monthly cards and the repetition of pieces within the January kit. The kit looks great, and I am looking forward to using it to document in 2026. I am switching back to 12x12 PL because I have lots of page protectors for that size. Use the stuff!

Hi! I'm not going to go back to the way I used to do it (at least not for 2026). I'll be working in a 10x8 album again and using a combination of the Storyteller Kits and Stories By The Month™.

Hi! No changes to the quarterly Storyteller kit for 2026. We are changing the name of the OLW Mini Kit to "The Basics" - all items in there will be general for a variety of storytelling adventures (the price is also changing to be $5 less).
