December Daily® 2025 | Ali’s Story 01

Welcome to Story 01 in my 2025 December Daily® project.

I honestly can't tell you how happy I am to be in the storytelling portion of this album! It feels so good to be back at my table.

As always here's your reminder that there is no right or wrong way to document this season and tell your stories. You might be in a season where simplicity is key or you might be in a season where giving yourself the gift of play is life-giving. Take what you need and leave the rest.

The base foundation for this page is a 6x8 transparency paired with a 3x8 card. If you don't have a sewing machine you could use washi tape to attach these two pages together. I'm feeling super into pairing these two page sizes together.

On top of the base transparency I decided to add a cut up 2x2 page protector (so I have two, 2x2 pockets under the transparent flip up). On top of the transparent flip up (created using a piece of pattern transparency) I added the green number one with the "December" die cut from the Main Kit. Underneath the "December" die cut I added a small magnet (and added another one on the back of the 2x2 pockets) in order to keep the flap closed. I used red line tape to attach the flip up to the pockets and the pockets to the base transparency.

I tucked a "be jolly" tab along the top of the flip up.

I printed my journaling on sticker paper and added that onto one of the pattern papers from the extra 10x8 paper pack. Underneath the flip up I added a banner word strip from the Main Kit (I cut off the banner portion in order for it to fit).

On the back I plan to add another 2x2 pocket section and I'll share that tomorrow when I share Story 02.
