December Daily® 2025 | Ali’s Story 11

Welcome to Story 11 in my 2025 December Daily® album.
Just a heads up that I will be out of town this weekend at a volleyball event with Anna. I'll jump back into this project on Monday with new stories to tell.
Here's the process video:
Here are additional images:

Always, always, always here for everyday life photos and reflective journaling.
To create the pattern paper flap I used a 4 inch circle punch and then folded the circle in half. I used mini magnets to hold the front and back of the circle together which keeps the vellum tucked in with my photo.
On the outside of the folded pattern paper circle I added a sticker from the Advent Calendar and gold puffy numbers from last year.

That gorgeous ribbon was a gift from Jill Broadbent (thanks Jill).

My photo and my vellum journaling are both 8.25 inch x 8.25 inch.

I stitched the ribbon along the outside edge of my photo. The pattern paper circle is adhered to the back of the page with red line tape.

Your journaling is so touching, raw and real Ali. May God be with you all during this time in life many of us are or have gone through. Hope this volleyball weekend is a nice break for you! Beautiful layout!

Checking in with ourselves is a good thing. It's so easy to get caught up in the things that we often don't realize we may not be okay.

This may very well be my favorite page so far! I love the simplicity, I love the closure attachment, and we all need to do the journaling. As a volleyball grandma, good luck this weekend!
