Note To Self | Wednesday

A couple weeks back I was sitting out on my back porch and started thinking about "in my bag" photos. I love how they capture a slice of time and include a bunch of other little stories (each item really tells its own story).

It's been a long time since I've taken one of those photos and I thought it would be a fun "note to self" prompt from this season of my life.

For today's Note To Self project I'm using a full page photo as the background and adding my content on top including stamping, letter stickers and journaling.

I love how this one felt a little like going back in time to some projects I've done in the past. I'm always here for a full page photo foundation, but I love this invite to document what I'm carrying around with me in this specific time.

I also loved just stamping + adding letter stickers to the photo along with a little bit of stitching between the titles and to create the area for journaling at the bottom.

Looking at this page as I share it here I'm thinking I might pair it with some longer journaling about getting organized in a different way as I care for my parents. The opportunity to tell more of a story is always available to us as the boss of our own storytelling adventures.
