Thank you.

As I was flying home from Salt Lake last night I was reflecting on how different my world view is now compared to a few years ago. I have met people from all over the world. Email with people all over the world. Have connected with so many people because of scrapbooking. I could never have known the impact it would make on my life, on my relationships with friends, with my family, with the way I see myself.
Reading through your comments I was overwhelmed with appreciation for our ability to connect with one another across the world. Just to be there - even if it is through our computers.
Feeling better now that I am home - in the company of my boys. Taking the next steps in our journey together.
And having my awesome cup of morning coffee as I begin my work day.
Peace and blessings to all of you out there...

I have to admit, my motives are a little selfish. I strive to elevate myself everyday, and logging on to view YOUR perspective (esp. in the face of adversity) makes me realize how much harder I can try. so, to play the game I used to play with my little dude: no, no, no...thank YOU!

You have to be the most wonderful person that I know...even though it is just through the computer b/c of scrapbooking. You, Chris and Simon are amazing and have touched SO many lives. You guys are going to be just fine. You and your family will continue to stay in my thoughts and prayers. Heather

What a beautiful photo of you and Simon! Your love for each other is so evident here. Glad you've returned home safely. This hobby/obsession of ours has enriched so many lives and I am thankful for it every day. Even beyond the benefits for my family, I feel like I learn so much about myself in the process...especially lately with so many wonderful blogs by awesome people out there. Each of them has a unique perspective and makes me think in new and exciting ways every day. How awesome is that...does it get any better? Have a great day and remember...one day at a time! Your family will make it and come out shining! As always, thanks for your daily inspiration here and in your sprapbook pages...you are truly amazing, Ali!

ali...like to many of the other posters I read your blog for inspiration and ideas on how i can better myself, as a person, as a mom, as a wife. That being said...I do have one question. I love pictures of people when they are not looking at the camera...not necessarily candids..but more real i guess. Does Chris take your pictures like the one today or do you have your camera on tripod or is there some other secret to your wonderful pictures?...they just are so much more personal and heartwarming. Thanks
Jenn
