Thank you.

As I was flying home from Salt Lake last night I was reflecting on how different my world view is now compared to a few years ago. I have met people from all over the world. Email with people all over the world. Have connected with so many people because of scrapbooking. I could never have known the impact it would make on my life, on my relationships with friends, with my family, with the way I see myself.
Reading through your comments I was overwhelmed with appreciation for our ability to connect with one another across the world. Just to be there - even if it is through our computers.
Feeling better now that I am home - in the company of my boys. Taking the next steps in our journey together.
And having my awesome cup of morning coffee as I begin my work day.
Peace and blessings to all of you out there...

No, Ali, thank YOU for sharing your life with us. You've inspired me personally in so many ways, not just scrapping, but how I view my life, and then record it. And now, sharing your journey through Autism with Simon, as we experience similar difficulties in my home, well, you've been far more than just another scrapbooker to me. Blessings to you. Simon is one lucky little boy. This photo is precious.

I know you don't know me, and I won't pretend to know what you and your family are going through, but I just wanted to thank you for sharing these little pieces of your life with us, and tell you that you and your family are in my prayers.

You're going through a rough time, and I thought I'd let you know that you've influenced me.
I'm very new at both scrapbooking and blogging (this is actually my first post to a "blog"), but I picked up your book on one of my first trips to the scrapbooking store. My first son was born last October, and scrapbooking has provided me with a way to preserve his life in a way that satiates me. When I first picked up your book I thought, okay... a linear thinker, an organized woman, someone who I an relate too and learn to scrapbook from. I think, a bigger lesson snuck up on me: you've taught me to be a better mother. The way your view Simon's advancements, and ven mundane achievements is beautiful! In a way, you've also inpsired me not to give up in my career. I was skimming your book, and happened upon some journaling about how if you were asked "five years ago" what you'd be, you would have said a mother. Today, I say mother, housewife, but I finished my MA right before I had my son; your use of you graphic arts background to communicate to us about scrpabooking is so inspiring. My degrees are in communication (particularly speech), but I feel they are applicable. I learn how to be a better woman from you. And I enjoy your pages immensely. I think my son will thank you when he is old enough to understand how cool his baby album is!
Thanks
