Thank you.

As I was flying home from Salt Lake last night I was reflecting on how different my world view is now compared to a few years ago. I have met people from all over the world. Email with people all over the world. Have connected with so many people because of scrapbooking. I could never have known the impact it would make on my life, on my relationships with friends, with my family, with the way I see myself.
Reading through your comments I was overwhelmed with appreciation for our ability to connect with one another across the world. Just to be there - even if it is through our computers.
Feeling better now that I am home - in the company of my boys. Taking the next steps in our journey together.
And having my awesome cup of morning coffee as I begin my work day.
Peace and blessings to all of you out there...

Wow, Ali - you are an incredibly courageous woman. You are also an amazing writer. Your little Simon is one of the most beautiful little boys I've ever seen, and I know he is SO blessed to have you two for parents.
Your right - scrapbooking is such an amazing little subculture. I love that. :) There's always a friend when you need one.
Praying for you and your little guy...

I'm so glad to see that you are back home. I've been reading the past couple of days and wanted to write, but I just couldn't figure out exactly what to say. You will find the strength you need everyday that you need it. I remember when the doctors first told me my son Gabe had Asperger's. I just kept thinking, "But what's wrong with the way he is? Doesn't it just make him HIM?" And that's the thing - there isn't anything WRONG, that just him. Keep your positive outlook, girl. You are inspiring us all. And know that you are not alone.

Ali-
Welcome HOME. I've been reading your blog since I got one of my own (about 3 weeks now). You have inspired me in many ways...especially reading about how Simon. I'm going through some issues with my little guy, Porter and your blogs have kept me calm,(I just had to let you know). So much I want to say to you, but I don't want to hog all of this up. You Rock!
Big (((HUGS))) and thanks for the inspiration.

Beautiful!! The best thing I could have seen before going to bed myself. Is that not the absolute BEST feeling in the world, snuggling & snoozing with your little dude?! Glad you're together again. :D
