and back to work. This time it is SERIOUS. I have a big ole project (aka a book) that has a deadline coming up soon so I pretty much need to go into hiding for a bit...hiding as in serious scrap mode.

Looking forward to getting down to business. Feeling inspired and ready to go. The house is semi-clean. There are lots of fun new products to play with around here. Chris knows he is in charge of dinner for the next few weeks. We are stocked on coffee. The weather is cooling down a bit - at least it has that lovely little chill in the air.

Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Embark.

Busy, busy through the end of the year. Wanted to give a travel/workshop schedule update. Here is where I will be through the end of 2005:

  • AUGUST :

    • 27th Southern Oregon Scrap Convention in Roseburg, Oregon (make & take from 2-4pm)

  • SEPTEMBER :

    • 7th -11th • CKU Kansas City

  • OCTOBER :

    • 1st • Photo Express in Maple Ridge, BC (outside Vancouver)

    • 15th • Art House in Portland, Oregon (9 spots left in Sunday class)

    • 22nd - 23rd • Colorful Creations in Cape Cod

    • 26th - 30th • CKU-A in Stamford, CN

  • NOVEMBER

    • 4th - 6th • Fairytale Weekend in The Netherlands (will be back in the Netherlands again visiting Pien's Atelier in late Feb/early March - would love to meet many of you from around Europe during my visit - so, so excited about both these opportunities)

    • 12th • Scrap Yard in Albany, Oregon

    • 18th - 20th • Scraptacular in Elyria, Ohio

  • DECEMBER

    • 9th - 11th • Scrapbook Xanadu in Avon, Indiana (working on details right now)

Scrapbooking is taking me to so many cool places. Places I never imagined I would have the chance to visit. Looking forward to many adventures to come.

Wanna see photos from last weekend's crop & sale? Check out Tara's blog. The one above is of my shirt and sweater (cardigans are one of the loves of my life...this one is from JCrew). Had to circle the A for a little bit of fun.

Planning a trip to Portland to explore potential places to live some time soon and had actually been thinking October...hmmmm. I know Stamford, CT a lot (a LOT) closer to Philly, but I missed out on the CKU action this time around. :)

    Hey there Ali,
I see you havent got Memory Trends on that calander, does that mean you wont be there??:( (sad and pouting)
I agree with you on the Travel. I cant believe that scrapbooking is bring me to America. And I went to 4 different states last year. (oh and for those of you that dont get it, our country is only 7 states, so that aint bad!!)
What an amazing industry we work in!! Glad to see you are home! I so love that T-shirt!!! Maybe we could swap.......a shirt for a jacket!!LOL!

LOVE the shirt! WOW you are going to be really busy. Wish you were coming to Dallas. Thanks for all the great information about ORegon. We had a great time and I loved Art House. Super cool store and I love how helpful were. Have you been to the Button/Ribbon Emporium? I think its on 11th and Salmon. Such an awesome store. We tried to go to the Oregon zoo but apparantly we went on the wrong day because there were lines wrapped around the street on a Tuesday!! I later found out from someone at the park nearby that it was $2 Tuesday..
